Chapter 24: Smell Of Noodles

The sweet smell of noodles woke Skyler up with a sweet smile on her face. She opened her eyes and closed them back due to the bright light emmiting from the window.

She sat up on the bed and yawned using the back of hand to cover her mouth while stretching the muscles in her body.

She glanced at the couch to see no sign of Chris, she got up from the bed and slipped her feet into her slippers.

She walked lazily to the kitchen and saw Chris just finished cooking, he had an apron tied to his body.

She thought she was dreaming about eating noodles when in truth Chris was the one preparing it, how sweet of him.

“ Good morning ” she greeted with a smile.

Chris who was yet to notice her turn around with two plates of noodles in both his hands and nearly bumped into her “ Oh... You're awake, good morning ” he said and smiled back.

“ Yeah, I greeted you just now but I guess you didn't hear me ”
