Zoe’s POV

I looked at mum and she was staring weakly at me. But she looked shocked.

Damon. I had to get him.

I have to save him

I can do this.

“I will be back, just stay with me mum; I promise,” I told her as I laid her head properly on the floor and stood up.

I ran back to where Damon was and I was shocked at what I saw. He was surrounded by evil creatures and was trying to fight them off with his powers.

Any minute from now, if he didn't try he will be killed by these creatures.

I looked into my both palms. I could feel the powers at the tips fighting to come out with that strange feeling; it was there.

My breath became still.

They were overwhelming me.

It was just too much.

Some of the creatures saw me and charged at me and I stretched out my both hands to them.

And it worked.

I didn’t even know how it worked. I just did it and a light came out from my palm and struck at the creatures, making the yelp and vanish.

It frightened me.

I was scared.
