Chapter 37

Zoe’s POV

I stood in front of Damon in his room and watched him as he sat on the bed and attended to his wound.

When he kissed me to an extreme and we were breathless.

He stopped and stared at me without saying and I also did the same.

All of s sudden, he held my hand and vanished as we appeared in his house, his mansion precisely.

He was shirtless too and it made it easy for him to stitch up the place very well.

He groaned in pain as he finally finished stitching up.

“Pass me the drink,” he said weakly without looking at me and I went over to the table and I took the glass which contained black drink on it.

Geez, it is too black.

I walked back to him and handed It to him and he collected it and gulped it down with a crumpled look.

It was obvious it tasted bitter.

He stood up and gave the cup back to me and I went to return it to the table.

I kept the cup back on the table exactly the way I took it and when I turned around, I saw him standing behind me, really very close.
