LOGINLUCIA~
I woke up feeling heavy and tired. Perhaps it's because of the rush from yesterday and the urgency of getting married, coming down here and all.
The first thing I did was to check my phone, which of course, has been filled with missed calls from Jenny.
Still groaning, I managed to put a call through, and was answered at the second ring.
"Did you want me to rush over there, and wake your ass up?" She yelled over the phone.
"Why are you so jumpy?" I yawned. "How was your night without me?"
"I miss you already, and I'm dying to see you...."
The line cut off before she could complete her words.
I sighed and fell back to the bed, realizing my phone was off.
However, I have to start my beautiful day by planning my revenge, so I got out of bed and yawned.
Alpha Julius wasn't in the room, which means he never came back after leaving me alone yesterday.
"It's good to start the day without him here anyway", I thought in ecstasy, then my wolf stirred up, howling in my brain, 'You must meet his family this morning. Or have you forgotten the rules of the pack?'
I gasped in horror. "Did that punk leave me to meet his family alone then? What if they...."
"What if they what?" His cold tone answered behind me. I turned and he continued, "Did you think everyone is so interested in killing you so much?"
I gulped hard. He just came out of the bathroom and the only thing he had on was the towel that was wrapped around his groin and his hair was wet.
I struggled to swallow the lump in my throat, 'He's Teja's murderer!' I assured myself before raising my jaws to mock him, "Is that coming from someone that slept out on our wedding night?"
"Wedding night?" He smirked and advanced toward me. "Did you mean the night you tried to kill me?"
Damnit! He just can't stop getting on my nerves and it's annoying me as hell.
I pushed through him, "As from now, it's better we don't have anything to do with each other. Murderer!"
He seemed to freeze for a while but still regained his stance. "My family is waiting, get ready to meet them and...."
"It's the rule of the pack, I already know that", I informed him before walking off.

The breakfast table is silent except for the clinging of the plates and cutlery.
I buried my gaze at the plate, not looking at anyone because it seemed everyone on the table seemed to be looking at me.
Their wolves smelled expensive and at the same time oppressive in a way that I don't think I can raise up my head to look at them.
I just have to get out here soon or else these old wolves are gonna fuckin make me...
"Cough!" I suddenly choked on the soup.
To my surprise, Julius reached out and patted my shoulder, "Calm down, My Luna."
I shot him a glance, 'Are you fuckin mad?' I screamed in my mind. To annoy me further, this devil flashed me the most annoying and mocking smile ever and I wished I could just dash him a slap right there.
His mom dropped her fork and smiled at me delightfully, "Our Julius is so nice. I never thought the goddess would make things this easy for us."
I forced a smile and resumed eating.
After breakfast was hell. I was faced with his family, who began to ask me different questions, which of course are very annoying.
But throughout the introduction period, Julius didn't tell his family about my previous criminal records and how I accused him of Teja's murder.
Could it be that he was really involved?
I shook my head. He must have some reason why he's not telling them about my ugly past, but I don't want to hear it.
All just to find this man and avenge Teja, I underwent a lot of training and joined several illegal gangs despite Jenny's support and so, I was constantly arrested with groups of rougues or bandits and that's why I have those criminal records.
After the introduction, I was finally free to go wherever I wanted. But I'm not going anywhere. Jenny already knew about my mission, so, I'm free.
I followed Julius as he went back to his office, which looked like a training ground because of the weapons he had there.
"Why did you keep a lot of weapons?" I asked when I felt that his weapons were really too much for an ordinary Alpha to have.
He didn't reply me but took his coat and dragged me out. "You're not allowed to be in here, and also... I'm leaving now to work. If you know what's good for you, wait for me."
I frowned. "Are you saying I should leave? Leave when I'm not sure if you're not Teja's murderer?"
He walked me up and pinned me to the door, "My Luna, don't you think you're overstepping your boundaries?"
I almost choked as his grip on my throat was getting tighter. But I pretended as if I was cool about it and spat in his face. "No boundaries should be between us, Mate. And I'm a very adamant person so..."
His grip on my check tightened for a moment, his honey eyes flashing with a spark of anger and something else I couldn't decode.
I hated how his touch made my body betray me each time the mate's bond glows between us, but I can't control it even if I wanted to.
My wolf actually came to my rescue this time by snapping me back from the dungeons of illusion I was thrown into.
"You're too loud for someone who is planning revenge," Julius said, his voice low but annoying. "What makes you so sure that I killed your sister?"
"I know enough!" I hissed in disgust at his lies. I saw it when you killed her. You murdered Teja with your barrel and all I could do was to hide like...."
"Stop", he raised his hand. "I killed her with a gun? When?"
I pushed him away. "Stop lying to me! Stop putting on an innocent face!"
"But the one I killed wasn't with a gun and...."
"So you're admitting you're a murderer?" I smirked. "Even our mate bond won't make me change my mindset about you and let me jog your brain, since you seem to have lost it.... You killed Teja ten years ago with your gun!"
With that, I finally got rid of him and left.
JULIUS ~I find Lucia in the corridor, her back to me, staring out at the courtyard below. The meeting ended twenty minutes ago, but she hasn't moved. She stood there with her back against the wall, breathing slowly and deeply, like she was holding some heavy truth inside her chest and trying to keep it from spilling out."Lucia."She turns. Smiles. "Hey."That smile doesn't reach her eyes.“You handled that beautifully”, I said with pride, even though I was still concerned for her.She looked up at me, saying "Did you hear?""Wolves gossip faster than wildfire." I smiled fondly at her, even though I wasn’t really feeling like it.She reached up and touched my shirt, her fingers curling in them slightly.“I feel… different,” She admitted. It sounded like she just wanted to pour her heart out to me. “Not in a bad way. Just… shifted.”I cupped the side of her face. “You’re finding yourself,” I whispered. “That’s all.”She's here, but she feels far away.My wolf whines inside me, confuse
LUCIA ~The conversation I heard was all I could think of, I hardly barely slept. My body still feels strangely energized, it was humming with something I couldn’t name. The new way they looked at me, the whispers, and even my growing feelings for Julius, they all seem to be messing with my head.I pushed it all away with a sigh.Today, is not a day for strange feelings. There is no room for panic or confusion. I am going to focus on only Luna things today.I dressed slowly and carefully, trying my best to look the part of the perfect Luna. The pack house buzzed with its usual chaos. Wolves moved through hallways with purpose, nodding respectfully as I passed. Some even bowed their heads slightly, a gesture of submission I still wasn't used to."Luna Lucia," Axel greeted me near the main hall. "The pack Alphas' mates are gathering in the meeting room, along with some elder she-wolves. They're hoping you'll join them.""Of course." I forced warmth into my smile. "I'll be right there."
LUCIA ~When I woke up, the bed was empty. Julius had insisted we sleep in the same room, so he can keep an eye on me. But he must have left before sunrise, he said something about having an early start yesterday.I lay there for a moment, staring at the faint outline of his body on the bed. The warmth was still there, as if he just stood up from the bed. I reached across the sheets to touch it.When did I start missing him so much? A few weeks ago, all I had wanted was to kill him, but now I was missing him.“Get a hold of yourself,” I said to myself, pushing the covers aside. “You are fine.”Only that I didn’t really feel fine. Every senses in my body is heightened. I could hear the footsteps down the hall, I could someone humming in the kitchen downstairs. The smell of coffee drifted under the door, making my mouth water.I shook my head to clear it. Maybe it was nerves, or exhaustion, i can't say. I dressed quickly, settling for something casual, and stepped into the hallway. As
JULIUS ~The next day, the packhouse was already alive by the time I stepped out. There was activity everywhere, from the clang metal, to the laughter of pups. The men were sparring like they were preparing for war.“Easy,” I called out, my voice cutting through the noise. “You’re not supposed to kill each other during training.”They paused, panting, eyes wild. One of the young warriors, Hale, looked up at me, his chest heaving.“Sorry, Alpha,” he said, wiping sweat from his brow. “It’s… it’s the air. It feels strange today.”“The air?” ” I answered, stepping closer, my gaze sweeping over the group. A few others nodded, murmuring agreement, their shoulders tense like twisted coils. He nodded, glancing up at the sky. “Yes, Alpha. It smells like a storm’s coming. But there’s no storm. My wolf keeps pacing inside, sniffing at something I can’t place. And the scents, they’re sharper, too. Like everything’s amplified, but wrong.”I tilted my head back. The sky was clear, washed in gold. N
JENNY ~The packhouse was asleep, but I wasn’t. Sleep was for the living, and I’ve long forgotten its shape. I slipped from my room, bare feet silent on the cool floors, the night air was thick with something, something I couldn’t place.Wood creaked. Wolves dreamed. The hum beneath the walls carried her name. Lucia, Lucia, Lucia. The air vibrated faintly, almost like the low murmur of a song. The night had grown heavy with power, silver and soft, the kind that pressed against skin until you couldn’t tell where you ended and the world began. It had started yesterday, the shift. The moment Lucia woke something in herself, the entire house began to respond. I could feel it thrumming in the beams, in the bones of the wolves, in my own veins. She’s finally breathing in tune with the moon again.I told myself the warmth blooming in my chest was pride. But pride shouldn’t feel like hunger. My senses catch on everything tonight, the pull of blood vibrating in the veins of sleeping bodies, wa
LUCIA ~When I woke up in the morning, everywhere was too bright. Sunlight poured into the room, biting my eyes. For a moment, I just laid there, listening to everything. The hum inside me had gone down, but all of my senses were heightened, making the world so loud.I heard the sound of birds, the sound of people’s footsteps in the hall, the sound of Julius’s heartbeat somewhere in the house. It was as if the world had turned up its volume while I was sleeping.I sat up slowly, the sheet pooling around my waist. My palm tingled where the mark rested, faintly warm but calm, pulsing in rhythm with my breath. It wasn’t burning anymore. It felt… alive. It doesn’t feel like I’m waking up, I thought. It feels like I’ve been asleep for years and finally remembered how to breathe.Julius came in just as I was tying my hair. He stopped at the door, balancing a tray of tea and toast on his hands. He watched me longer than he probably meant to.“You’re staring at me again,” I said softly.“Tryi
