Chapter Seven: The Betrayal

My heart was pounding as I raced through the woods, my wolf forms agile and swift. I had received a message from an anonymous source, warning me that the rival werewolf pack was planning an attack on Silverwood that night. I rallied my pack and we set out to confront them, but as we arrived at the clearing, I froze.

Jaxon stood at the centre of the rival pack, his eyes locked on mine. My mind raced as I tried to make sense of what I was seeing. Was Jaxon a traitor? Had he been working with the rival pack all along? My heart shattered as I realized that the one I loved had betrayed me and my pack.

In a flash, my pack lunged forward, ready to fight. The rival pack responded in kind, and a fierce battle erupted. I fought with all my might, my body moving on instinct as I battled the enemies I had once called friends. My pack fought bravely beside me, but it was clear that we were outnumbered and outmatched.
