“Yes, look how scared I am.” I raised an eyebrow in his direction, too happy to care.
“Sienna?” he asked suddenly, worried. “What happened to your wound?”
I looked in the direction of my waist, trying to verify that it had not been all a dream. Nope, there was no claw mark there. It was better than ever, actually.
“Did they disappear?” I stuck out my tongue at him.
I felt a sudden urge and didn’t want to hold back. With one look, Hunter understood what I wanted and even though he didn’t seem to agree very much, he got into position.
“On your marks!” I started, smiling at the adrenaline rush I felt. “Ready? Out of!”
