Chapter 12 - Inside the Mansion

Stacy's heart thumped as she was led toward a forest road. It was pleasant weather with a series of trees on both sides of the road but they were traveling for a while. She didn't know where they were taking her. She had never come to this place.

She wanted to ask but Sebastian was quiet the whole time and had been typing on his apple laptop. He was doing his work with utter concentration and wasn't paying any attention to anything.

Stacy's phone rang and it caught Sebastian's attention. As his eyes moved to her, she held the phone tightly so this time he wouldn't be able to throw the phone or break it. She just bought it like a week ago with her small savings.

"You can't take the phone with you in my mansion," he said and stretched out his hand to her, demanding, "Give me the phone."

"No! Then how will I contact Mikaela?!" She asked, clutching the phone against her chest tightly as if her life was dependent on it.
