A New Werewolf in Town

Alex's POV.

I anxiously approached Sarah's house, clutching a map in my hand; encouraged by Sarah's threat yesterday, I made some research overnight. The sun was setting, casting an amber glow over the surrounding woods. I rang the doorbell, and Sarah opened the door with a warm smile, which surprised me as I was expecting to see the opposite.

“Hey, Alex! I've been waiting for you,” Sarah greeted, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “Ready for our adventure?” A grin played on her lips.

I nodded, my heart pounding with anticipation.

“Absolutely. I've marked the areas on the map where other werewolf sightings have been reported. We need to find out if there are other packs like us out there.” I tried to keep my voice firm.

Sarah, still at the door, took the map from me. She studied the map intently, tracing her finger along the highlighted regions.

“This is fascinating. It's like we're on a mission to uncover our own kind.” She said with a lively voice that didn't last the next sec
