Who Is He?

The next morning, Sarah grunted softly as she tossed around the bed. She slowly opened her eyes and she sat up, wiping her blurry and sleepy eyes with the back of her palms. Her eyes fell outside the window, at the bright, shiny sun that lit up the world.

“It's such a beautiful day today.” She gasped softly.

Before she could think of anything else, the door crept opened and the woman who had taken her in walked in. She goes by the name Sophie. She sat beside her on the bed, one of her hand on her knees, caressing it softly.

“Good morning, Sophie.” Sarah said with a lit smile that played on her lips.

“I hope you slept well?”

“Sure, and you?”

“I haven't felt this great in a long time. It's such a relief that you decided to join us.” Sophie smiled, which Sarah also returned.

“I'll go make your breakfast. You should be down in ten minutes.” Sophie said on her way out of the room.

“Okay, I'll be out soon.” Sarah called out.

A smile played on Sarah's lips as she watched Sophie retreat fr
