I had picked a familiar scent from afar. A scent that would breathe his last breath the day we meet.

A day like this happened too soon, and I never knew he would be the one who would walk to me.

I grabbed the knob, opened the door and stepped out of the house. His eyes dropped like he had just seen a ghost.

Of course, he told Isabella I was dead so, that makes me dead to him.

“What a sweet man you are, Marcus!” I whined, licking my lips as I stared at him.

He took some steps backwards as I approached him, but I did not stop walking to him.

“I never knew you could walk to me yourself. Why? Are you that tired of life that you had to come find death?” A scary grin escaped my mouth.

“No,” he shook his head with his hands stretched forth and waving at me. “It's not what you think, I know how, but you probably hate me right now, but it's not what you are thinking.” He pleaded, still taking slow steps backwards.
