“Just let us all go. Let us live our lives like none of this ever happened.”

“What?” He barked and Lise flinched but looked at him with determination shining in his eyes.

She might not be as strong as others were but she sure as hell wasn’t a coward when it came to the people she loved. And her mom and aunt meant the world to her. She would do anything for them.

“Just let them go.” Her voice came out small as she looked into his burning eyes. He looked ablaze. He was even enraged at the thought of her leaving him.

If she had told this him before, he would have agreed to it, but not anymore. She was his and he planned on possessing her as a whole.

“You are mine, Anna” he snarled as he gripped her hair and pulled her face closer. His minty breath enveloped her and she stared at him as the stinging sensation in her skull only intensified as he tilted her head backward.
