They are dominating!

LUCIAN

I sipped coffee from the cup I was holding while I looked out the window at the training ground.

Salvador didn’t seem to be joking when he said that he would fight with his men. I sighed, watching him train the vampire fighters that he recruited. His eyes were fixed on them like those of a vulture.

“You need to put in more effort!” he snapped, and the boys, or probably men who hardly grew old, chorused and bowed. Salvador turned and raised his head, then darted his eyes in the direction of my window. Our eyes locked, and a sinister smile spread across his face. I huffed loudly and pulled the curtains, then stepped away from the window before heading to the reading table beside a shelf in the room.

Everything here seemed strange and unfamiliar compared to the Pack. All their furniture, paintings, and even books looked gothic and dark. Even the air they breathed felt dark and suppressing, filled with the scent of blood.
