CHAPTER 9
“Foolery!” Sloan rose to his feet, his eyes glaring daggers at everyone as his chest rose and fell with great gusto. Aurelia shuddered. She expected him to be angry, but not to this point.
“King Sloan,” Kieran enunciated, his shaky voice betraying the calm situation he was trying to propose.
He hated that his sister was seen as an object that could be used at will. Sloan on the other hand was enraged at being tricked.
“How dare those scumbags!”
Ivan’s face was void of any expression while Leo felt pained, occasionally stealing glances from his sister.
“But I…” she was about to reveal the whole truth to them when she decided against it. Seeing the redness of their eyes, Aurelia could tell that would not in any way be a bold move. Who knew what hell would break lose?
And how would the Lycan King take it that his betrothed was not untouched? In hopes of sparing her brain any more trauma, she shook her head, changing her statement.
“I ran away and encountered some challenges.”
“That is true. You were bruised all over. Why didn’t you transition and heal?” Ivan questioned once more.
Aurelia had to give it to him. He was damn good at poking the right questions, leaving her uncomfortable.
Fortunately, Leo noticed what his brother did and cautioned him. “Ivan, stop it.”
“What? She may be our sister but we must question what needs to be questioned. There’s so much we do not know about her past.”
“Are you doubting her?” Leo asked, rising to his feet too, ignoring Sloan’s pacing.
“Shut it, Leo, and think above your emotions. I love her just as much as you do.”
“No. I love her most. More than any of you, brothers. I won’t question her that way. She’s been through a lot,” he fired back.
Aurelia felt her heart swell. In all her life, she never had anyone defend her this way, except Ryland, who turned out to be a douchebag.
“Enough with the arguments,” Kieran intervened. Knowing his hot-headed brothers, he knew he had to stop them lest this meeting turned into something more. “Ivan is right.”
The look on Leio’s face showed he felt betrayed that Kieran sided with Ivan. Another proof they did not love her the way he did.
“But Leo is also right and Aurelia,” Aurelia lifted her eyes to meet his, “this isn’t the time to be hiding any information from us. We need to know what you’ve been through. And as your older brothers, I promise you we will seek justice for you.”
Aurelia gave a nod. But that did not mean she was going to spill about her sleeping with a random stranger.
“You were covered in bruises and bleeding. Who in their right mind dared hurt you?”
She closed her eyes once more but before she did, she saw Leo’s displeasing look as the latter grunted, obviously angry at them.
There was no escaping this, was there?
“Eretria.”
“What?!” It was Sloan who hollered his shock. While the others exchanged puzzled glances. “Why?”
She opened her eyes once more.
“I admit, at first I thought he was a much older man and then I… I was in love back then. But he betrayed me when we were to elope. That was when I discovered Eretria’s plans.”
“What plans? Why would she wish you harm when she first refused the wedding?”
“Simple. She never knew he was the Lycan King. Her parents refused to play a trick on him but she wanted me out of the way.”
“And she dared injure you?” Leo’s raging voice pulled everyone’s attention.
“No. She ordered some werewolves. Luckily I fell off the cliff.”
“Urghhh!!”
Tears stung Aurelia’s eyes seeing her brothers squeeze their eyes shut. They had genuine care but what puzzled her most was Leo.
His eyes had changed colour, his wolf threatening to come out.
“When was this?” Leo questioned.
“About three days back.”
“Then, forgive my words but why didn’t you heal quickly?” Ivan threw his question again.
“Because losing my memories and the injuries I sustained as a kid made me unable to connect with my wolf. Some believe I have no wolf. Thus, I cannot heal.” Her voice broke at the last sentence.
Ivan peeled his gaze away feeling stupid for making her utter those words.
Aurelia lowered her head. Feeling so weak and useless. Aurelia could already expect scorn from her brothers when she said it. Back at the Blazed Moon Pack, many treated her with scorn and would have eaten or bullied her so much had she not been under the custody of Beta Walter.
However, when she felt a hand on her shoulder and two other presence before her, she lifted her head to meet the pained-filled eyes of her brothers, Ivan and Kieran.
Kieran squatted before her, his eyes glistening with tears. Without knowing, their sister had suffered so much with no one to protect her.
No wolf at the age of twenty-three was painful on his own. They could imagine the scorn as this was common amongst werewolves.
“You’re safe now,” Kieran assured her.
“Yeah. You are safe. I'm sorry too. Just know that no harm will come to you here, I promise. And we’ll find a way to help you get back your memories and wolf.”
The tears she had no idea she’d been holding in, spilled out. Never in a million could she imagine being treated with so much care even as a wolfless female.
Releasing another deep grunt, Leo turned to face them, appearing quickly in front of Aurelia when he saw his brothers were more sensible than him. “Trust Ivan. If anyone can find out, he can. I won’t lose either. I’d do my best and find the best healer.”
Once they were done making her cheer up, Kieran turned to face Sloan who till now was furious at being played by the very people he was doing everything for.
“Now that you know she wasn’t his real daughter. I believe the betrothal is null.”
***************CHAPTER 10 Sloan snapped his head to the side. How could they? No. Not after everything he had been through for this. They had no fucking idea. His crown. His love. His—No.He narrowed his eyes to Kieran. “Excuse me?”Together, all three men stood in front of their sister, protectively. “Aurelia is a princess of this kingdom, not a substitute bride for a better’s promise,” Leo defended. Sloan scoffed. They had to be kidding. “A deal is a deal,” he refuted. “Then take Walter’s daughter, Eritrea,” Ivan voiced, his lips curling up in a sinister smile.“I don’t want that conniving greedy bitch,” he hissed.“Too bad,” Leo said with a shrug of his shoulders.“If you are worried about your betrothal gifts, we will pay twice more. But our sister has gone through so much. I can’t allow a loveless marriage for her,” Kieran dictated.“You think it is that simple?” Sloan argued.“Yes. It is. There is no engagement.”Turning to face Ivan, Sloan questioned him. “Shouldn’t that
*************CHAPTER 11For a moment there, she sniffled, inhaling the strong masculine pinewood and lavender scent that assaulted her nostrils almost instantly.Aurelia staggered back but was prevented from falling by those pair of strong arms while muttering some inaudible words.Looking down at her, her saviour couldn't help the smile that crept up his lips. "Pfft." It wasn't until she heard him muffle a laugh that Aurelia peered up to see who it was."Ivan."To say she was shocked was an understatement. If anyone would engage in such, she expected it to be Leo and not him. He was always too serious. Her gaze trailed from his face to her left arm to rest on the book he held. No wonder they bumped into each other. He was too transfixed with what he was reading, causing their collision."Hello, sis. Where are you running off to?"'Again with the questions.' Aurelia mentally noted and rolled her eyes."Nowhere." Before she could think of an answer for him, Labina blurted from behind
**************CHAPTER 12The days drifted by fast, soon it was already the seventh day. Her brothers had been good to her, making sure she had everything she needed even without asking. As cool as her life here was, something else sparked in Aurelia, tugging at her chest. There was a huge concern in her mind. She knew behind those charming smiles her brother showed, worry hid in the wrinkled lines at the corner of their eyes. It was all linked to her outing days ago. Aurelia stepped out of her chambers, taking a stroll down the palace halls to the garden, her light blue gown sweeping the floors so gracefully. Ever since the day she went scouting, she found out more than she could have wished to know. Sadly her kingdom wasn’t in the best of state and were in need of help due to the drought that affected their crops that year. It was what led to the transaction between the brothers and the Lycan King in the first place.Without being told, she knew this marriage alliance would do t
**************CHAPTER 1"Mmmmh… urgh!"The sensation flowing between her spread legs as he rammed his thick length into her, forced Aurelia's eyes to pry open, and a moan, so inevitable, escaped her parted lips when her back arched on their own accord."Fuck…!" The man on top of her clenched his teeth in raw pleasure when her insides squeezed him tight. The sound of flesh slamming against flesh could be heard in the room as he picked up his pace, thrusting into her like a century-old beast that had grown hungry, only to have its thirst satiated by the woman beneath him."You're so… fucking tight! My God!" he groaned louder this time.Aurelia's eyes were blurry. Her brain was muddled, and she could hardly comprehend her surroundings except for the constant penetration of a man's dick destroying her womb. How she ended up in bed with a total stranger, she hardly knew. Her head spun uncontrollably. It felt as though she may pass out for the second time, but knowing the risk involved, sh
************CHAPTER 2The look in Eretria’s eyes clearly told Aurelia the latter wasn’t joking. Taking a step back, she glanced around the room, her eyes locking on Ryland who was beginning to change his form.“Y-You’re kidding me, right?”Not knowing when she blurted out those words, she took another step back, both hands spread to her side. "Eretria, stop this.”“Stop?” she scoffed, “sorry, I can’t let you go. I’ll become the Luna to the Lycan King and you…” Her lips curled into a lopsided smile. “You’ll be gone—dead.”Suddenly, a low growl tore Aurelia’s attention from Eretria when she saw Ryland had succeeded in shifting. With no warning, the latter leapt, aiming for her head as his sharp fangs glistened under the moonlight.Aurelia’s heart tightened in her chest as her feet reflexively moved to the side, causing her to crash into the nearby door.GROWL!Her heart thudded widely as her fingers grabbed the next thing she could and she immediately got to her feet.“Don't be frighte
**************CHAPTER 3Arriving at Ryland’s building, the three werewolves sent by Eretria lowered their heads as they delivered the news to her.“Did you finish the job?” Ryland asked, clutching his bandaged stomach with his left hand. Before either of the werewolves could speak, Eretria stepped forward, her gaze sharp as she accessed them. “No.”All three heads snapped up to look at her when she responded. How did she know? They pondered, but no one dared speak.“If they did not finish the job, they wouldn’t have had the audacity to return,” she stated boldly while lifting her chin and staring down at them in an imposing manner.Although her father served as the Alpha of the pack's advisor, most men feared and adored her for her beauty and ruthlessness.“Their return simply meant they did. Now,” she lifted a brow, waiting for their report, “what news have you? How was my sister’s death?”One of the werewolves was about to answer when she cut asking, “Was it gruesome?”“It most def
**************CHAPTER 4 - Her Triplet Brothers~Silver Crest Pack~Aurelia slowly opened her eyes, whilst she was greeted by the soft glow of golden sunlight filtering through a delicate, silk curtain. At first, her eyes squinted slightly from the light, unable to grasp the reality as she assumed she was meant to be dead. But when her sight adjusted to the penetrating light, giving her the ability to access her surroundings, Aurelia’s eyes cautiously took in the grandeur of the unfamiliar room she was in.The chamber was a symphony of wealth, adorned with fanciful furniture, gilded accents, and rich tapestries. The air carried a faint fragrance of roses, whilst the canopy bed beneath her was draped in regal fabrics, and the pillows cradled her like clouds—a kind of comfort she knew lacked prior. This was definitely not her home. For a moment, Aurelia remained dazed—she wanted to imagine that this was her room, that maybe everything that happened was nothing more than a figment of
**************CHAPTER 5Right after Labina left, Aurelia took a deep breath. She had no clue what to do currently. These men were determined and believed she was their sister. However, there was no recollection on her part about who she really was.But if all Kieran said was true, it simply meant all her suffering was just…Aurelia winced when she folded her legs and her mind raced back to that night as well as the pleasure and pain that coursed through her body. Seeming only like yesterday, it had already been two nights since that incident happened."Curse you for what you…" her words hung on her lips when Labina walked in with a deep bow."Princess Ali…" she cut her words, recalling Leo's stern warning after they exited the room previously. The last triplet could sense his brother not wanting to overload Aurelia's memory which was why he asked for her name. As such, Leo made her not forget to call her by her given name. But how could she forget, when he perfectly asked in his usua
