(Next Day)

REPORTER " what is happening in this state, It's just two months that the previous commissioner of this state was killed, now the ASP Olawale badmus was found dead in his house.

" they found a knife drove through his forehead, and it also looks like he was tortured before he was killed.

" this action is causing fear in the police department and everyone is on the lookout, not knowing who the killer might target next.

" what could be the reason for their death?,.....no one knows but I hope sooner the culprit is caught and brought to justice.

I switched off the TV after listening to the news, I brought out the paper I jotted the names of others who have a hand in my father's death.

So I pick my next target which is Inspector Ben Okoro, I searched for his details in the police record and found the station he's working at.

In the evening I went to the station he's at and I saw him with the rest of the police.

I stalked him too without  him noticing, then he went to a corner to receive a call.

I looked around to make sure no one saw me as I followed him to an incompleted building which is the perfect cover I needed.

" hello sir" I heard him said over the phone.

" Sir, I need to tell you that ASP Badmus is dead....i don't know if you heard about that" he said.

" that must be the superior" I thought then I continue listening.

" wait......are you at the club? " he asked.

" okay sir...... Okay sir I'm coming" he said.

" which club?" he asked.

" Baltimore Club......okay I'm coming" he said then I entered the building.

Immediately he ended the call he turned to leave and he was shocked to see me.

" Oh My God......You?" he said scared.

" I guess you are surprised to see me" I said, then pointed the gun at him which shocked him and he went on his knees.

" please I'm begging you don't kill me.......it's the devil's work....please.... Don't kill me" he begged.

" then you will have to answer my question correctly.....and you won't suffer" I said.

" I swear I will answer you.....i swear" he said.

" do you have a hand in my father's death?" I asked just to be sure that am not about to kill an innocent man.

" yy..yyes...yes but I swear.....it's the devil.....if I had known it will turn out this way I wouldn't have done it" he said.

" how many are you in this? " I asked.

" five sir" he answered.

" after Badmus and you.......who are the other three?" I asked.

" it...it's....Commissioner Adewale Hassan, DCP tunde ajayi, DSP Paul Olawunmi" he said which confirm what the other one said.

" who are you speaking with just now?" I asked.

" DSP Paul olawunmi " he answered.

" the one at Baltimore club right now" I said and he nodded affirmative.

" thanks for your honesty" I said then shoot him on the head and he fell down dead.

I pick up his phone, used his finger to unlock it and change the password for me to be able to access his phone.

I left the building and made sure no one saw me, then made my way to the club for my next target.

(Few minutes later)

I arrived at the club and began searching for the DSP, the club was crowded which made it difficult for me to locate him.

I brought out the inspector's phone and dialled the DSP number, after a while he finally picked.

" Whe.....r...aa......" the loud music didn't let me hear what he's trying to say, so I moved to a corner.

" where are you?" I asked.

" Upstairs.....where are you?" he said then I look up and saw him with some girls.

" Let's meet in private.....too much people here" I said back hoping he wouldn't figure me out.

" where?" he asked.

" The Rest room..... I will be waiting for you" I said.

" okay" he said then I ended the call.

I watched as he made his way out from there to the restroom and I follow him.

As I got to the restroom I heard him calling out the inspector's name, I stepped in and pointed the gun at him.  He was startled and stood like a statue looking straight at me.

" I've got only two question, and if you love your life I suggest you answer me now" I said.

" where is DCP Tunde Ajayi?" I asked.

" He traveled" he said.

" did I tell you what I'm going to do to you if you lie to me?" I said.

" I swear he is......he called me last week and told me he's traveling....and he didn't tell me where" he said.

" Next question.......where is commissioner Adewale Hassan?" I asked.

" He's at his place" he answered.

" where?" I asked.

" Joker estate, house no 42" he said then I heard someone entered the restroom.

" GET OUT" I shouted at the boy and he ran out immediately, as I made to turn back at the officer he kicked the gun out of my hand.

Then he push me down and started punching me, as he made to give me another blow, I grabbed his hand and kick him off me.

He made to grab my gun and I kick him down then I pounce on him and strangled his neck.

He fought to release himself and he made it difficult for me, then I hit his head on the wall repeatedly till he started bleeding.

I bash his head harder several times till he gave up the ghost.

I stood up, grabbed my gun and shot him on the head to make sure he never gets up again.

I ran out of the restroom and saw the security coming my way, the guy from earlier must have inform them.

I ran away before they could get to me and after I'm sure they are not following me I took a cab to the hotel.

(Next Day)

I woke up the next day, took my bath and called the hotel receptionist to bring me my breakfast.

I switched on the TV to listen to the News as always, three dead....two to go.

REPORTER: There's an atmosphere of fear amongst the police officers in this city as two police officers were dropped dead yesterday".

" Looks like the merciless killer is on a killing spree, targeting officers in high ranks".

" yesterday Inspector Ben Okoro was found dead in an incompleted building, Also the DSP Paul olawunmi was found dead in a club restroom".

Just two days ago we report ASP Olawale Badmus dead in his house and now this".

" Why is this merciless killer targeting officers, what is his reason for doing this".

" if someone like this could be killing officers that are supposed to protect the civilian, what should we the civilians do?".

" The only thing we know so far about the killer according to the eye witness who saw him at the club".

" the killer is a young man, a youth in his early twenties, but no one has seen his face".

" another thing we know about him is that, he leaves a signature on all of his victims which is a hole on the head".

" the police can't find any connections to their death, why would this young boy be killing the police, what his his reason".

" there are false rumors among the people that these police officers were corrupted which is impossible cause these officers were a great people in the society".

" Great people my foot" I said then switched off the TV.

They should be lucky I didn't exposed them cause I don't want anyone to have an inkling that we are alive.

Since my next target is not in the country I guess I will have to go straight for the Top Dog.

I checked the address the DSP gave me and look for any CCTV cameras around the place.

I found many CCTV there then I tried to hack into it but I was unable to, because of the distance, so unless I get closer to the place.

If I'm going to do this it's time I use my favorite toy, I placed it in my pocket and got prepared.

(Few hours later)

A taxi dropped me in front of the estate and I looked around the estate and saw that there's no way I can enter the estate without getting caught.

It seems the Commissioner made some arrangements for himself, because the estate is crawling with police.

Even if I don't get caught the CCTV cameras will definitely expose me because there are so many cameras in the estate.

I don't have to worry about all of that since I have my favorite toy with me, getting into the estate might be harder than I thought.

I sat at a place beside the estate then brought out my laptop and hacked into the CCTV footage.

I searched for the commissioner's house and saw that there are only three cameras in his house.

Two outside the house and two at the doorstep, then I noticed a radioactive signal coming from the house which means he's receiving a call.

I brought out my earpiece and plug it in, then listen to the conversation.

" what is happening?......why is he targeting them" I heard someone said.

" Not just that.....he's targeting everyone in our group.... Only you and I are remaining" a familiar voice said which I think must be the commissioner.

And the other person on the line must be the DCP who they said he traveled.

I checked where he's calling from and realised that he is in the country, could that officer be lying about his whereabout.

I started tracking where he is calling from.

" what could be his reason?.....who do you think the person is?......and how did he know about us?" the DCP said.

" that is exactly what baffles me.....I don't know" the commissioner said.

" do you think this might have something to do with the late commissioner?" The DCP said then the tracking shows that he's right here in the city.

" I don't think so......No one knows about that" commissioner said.

" this is bad......what should we do now?" DCP asked and I check more of his position and realise he's in a hotel.

" you're Lucky......i heard you traveled I suggest you stay where you are because since then I can't step out of my house" commissioner said.

" Actually I didn't travel" DCP said.

" you did not?" he said in surprise.

" I just want to get away from my family and spend some time with one of my girlfriends" DCP said.

" Just stay there and never go anywhere......we don't know how he's tracking us" the commissioner said.

" okay sir" DCP responded then ended the call.

Since getting into the estate by this time of the day will be hard, I think I have to go for the DCP since I know his whereabout.

I left the place and board a taxi to the hotel, and on my way I got myself a cap to cover my face.

Few minutes later, I told the driver to drop me a few meters away from the hotel so I won't be caught in camera.

I brought out my favorite toy, the E.M.P(Electro magnetic pulse) device then switched it ON, which cut off all electric and electronic charge in that area including the CCTV cameras.

I made my move to the hotel wearing the cap, I entered and saw some people wondering what happen to the light then moved to the receptionist.

" hy good afternoon" I said to the lady.

" Good afternoon, how can I help you?" the lady asked.

" I'm here to meet someone, his name is Tunde Ajayi he lodged in here" I said.

" who are you?" she asked.

" Samuel Smith, he told me to come here because we are working on something" I said to her.

" okay sir, uhmm....he's in room 68, you will have to take the stairs because we have a problem with our electricity" she said.

" thank you so much" I said then went to the stair.

As I was climbing the stairs the light came back ON which means they must have switched ON the generator.

I brought out the device again and press it again which make the light to go off again.

I know the generator can never start again unless they get another engine, I continued running on the stairs till I reached there.

Then I search for room 068 then knocked but got no response, I kept knocking till I heard a footstep from inside.

" who's that?" he asked.

" Room service" I replied.

" ohh.... You're here to fix the light right?" he asked.

" yes" I replied then he opened the door and I pointed the gun at him.

" move" I said to him and he move back frightened.

I entered as he move back from the door then I lock the door, immediately the bathroom door opened and a young lady came out stark naked and immediately she saw me she was shocked.

" Go back Now and lock yourself inside" I shouted at her and she went back.

" Oh my God it's you.....you are alive" he said shocked.

" of course I am" I replied.

" H..howw..how did you find me?" he asked.

" is that what you should be worried about right now?" I asked.

" please don't kill me......i will give you whatever you want......i have money, I have plenty money......i will give you everything.......please don't kill me" he begged.

" why did you kill my father?" I asked.

" I'm not the one......i swear I'm not the one" he said.

" yes you are not the one.......but you're among those that orchestrated everything......so tell me why" I said.

" your...Your father was too honest, he..he..he wouldn't accept any bribe, nor would he let us" he said shaking.

" And so you killed him?" I said.

" there are lots of benefit in our job but your father won't let us have any of it........we can't just rely on the little change the government give us and your father is hindering us" he explained.

" a man whose entire life was dedicated to his honesty, and his duty and you killed him just because he wouldn't let you have your way.....You took him away from us" I said to him.

" please forgive me" he pleaded.

" There are nearly 4500 religions in this world, And thousands of people die for it and kill for it everyday.

But people like you have created a new religion " Corruption" I said.

" which is what destroyed the country,.......The saying is pretty obvious, what is ordained, cannot be changed.

You will die when it's your time to die" I said then shoot him on the head and left the place.

" Corruption is a virus, once inside the body it can kill the entire organ, the only vaccine for corruption is DEATH".
