CHAPTER SEVEN

Roseanne walked fastly while stretching her legs to match with Grace pace , she was breathing heavily as she tried to match up with her pace.

She dragged her white wedding gown up with a sigh when she suddenly remembered her heels were no longer in her hand.

“ I must have forgotten it in the monster room , Roseanne you’re such a dumbass” she thought to herself silently as her face scrunched up in fear.

Grace suddenly looked back when she noticed Roseanne was no longer walking behind her.

“ Mrs Grey “

“Mrs Grey”

Grace shouted and sighed when noticed she didn’t hear her. She moved back and her tapped her slightly which made her scream and jump up in fear as she looked up to Grace whose lips formed a thin line as she looked at Roseanne who was still trying to catch her breathe from the shock.

“Mrs Grey” Roseanne looked at Grace blankly as she tried to find her voice but her thought was filled with the thought of forgetting her heels in the devils room.

Grace tapped her slightly “ We have a long way to go and we have to return you to the master chamber this night also” Grace said as they took few steps and stood facing a black sophisticated door.

Roseanne felt imaginary breeze almost making her fall as the thought of returning back to his room sent fearful shivers down her spine, she watched as Grace pressed the code before the door opened automatically.

Roseanne gasped at the beauty of the room , the light shining brightly as she looked around , her eyes caught the king sized bed and she rushed to it as she pressed the bed to feel the softness . She got lost staring at the beauty of the room that she almost forgot she entered with someone.

Grace cleared her throat dramatically with a smile on her face as Roseanne looked back.

“ This will be your room from now henceforth , the wardrobe is filled with new clothes,bags ,skincare products and footwears as ordered by the master and the female necessities are also properly arranged by the Maids already.” Grace said as she bowed lightly with a smile.

Riseane rushed towards the wardrobe and her mouth opened wide as she stared at the expensive clothes in the wardrobe, the shoes filled the rack and she gasped as she checked the size to see it’s perfectly her size.

“ how did he know my size ?” Roseanne muttered silently but it was loud enough for Grace to hear.

Grace lip curl up in a little smile and the smile vanished almost immediately.

“ Same way he guessed your wedding dress size and show size ma’am “

“If you need anything you can always use the telephone beside your bed, your personal maid will come soon to introduce herself and then dress you up and then escort you back to the master room tonight Mrs Grey”

Roseanne cleared her throat at the thought of going back to the monsters room, the thought of being in the ice cold room almost made her warm body freeze to death from the thought only.

“ you can call me Roseanne or Anne , Mrs Grey still sounds new and weird“ she said with her eyes fixed on the floor avoiding eye contact with Grace who smiled in return.

“ It’s not allowed ma’am and you’ll get used to it soon ma’am” she said as she bowed and walked out of the room.

She lay down on the bed , rolling on it while giggling at the softness of the bed ,she heard a knock on the door which made her froze for a minute, she stood hurriedly as she counts her steps out of fear of opening the door to face her so called husband.

She turned the door knob a little bit and opened the door to see a lady of her age looking directly into her eyes as she smiled and bowed.

“ I’m ocean your personal maid ma’am “ ocean said her eyes drilled fixed to the floor as she introduced herself to Roseanne.

Roseanne nodded in response as she couldn’t firm the right words to say.

“ Madam Grace instructed me to get you dressed and make sure you get to the master room before 8pm ma’am” ocean said in a low voice as she tried to avoid making eye contact with Roseanne.

“Okay , I’ll be comfortable with you calling me Rose or Anne . Ma’am makes me feel old and uncomfortable and with the look of things you look like we are age mate “ Roseanne said with a little smile on her face as she tried to sound friendly.

Ocean knelt down hurriedly as she clasp her hands together as she shiver in fear which made Roseanne eyes widen.

“ Don’t you like me ? Please I’ll serve you well but please don’t let me call you name ma’am” ocean said in fear as tears filled her eyes.

“ I don’t dislike you and I want you so why can’t you call me name ?” Roseanne said as she pulled her up as she used her hand to clean the tears rolling down ocean’s eyes which made ocean shift back and move away from Roseanne’s grasp .

“Doing that is prohibited and it might cost me my head or leg , calling the masters wife name in this mafia world is highly prohibited and counted as disrespect to the masters also” Ocean explained in a low voice as she avoided making eye contact with Roseanne.

“Such a strict rule?” Roseanne thought as she stared at ocean who looked scared being in the same space with her.

“Okay , let me have my bath then you can escort me to the master room” Roseanne said as she made to walk away but ocean’s voice stopped her halfway.

“ I have to prepare your bath ma’am and I have to be there to wash your skin ,so as to avoid you getting hurt or injured ma’am “ ocean said in a little voice which made Roseanne’s eyes widen.

“ you… you’ll bath me ?” She asked loudly in shock as she held her gown tightly in shock.

“ yes ma’am “

“ don’t bother about that , I’ll have my bath myself but you can prepare my bath and I’ll make sure no one knows about this” Roseanne said in a low voice as she whisper to ocean who looked scared at the idea.

“ But ma’am …”

“ No but , prepare my bath and I’ll sort myself out “ Roseanne said

“ ma’am ..” oceans tried to disagree but Roseanne held her hand and looked at her batting her eyes while looking at her with a puppy eyes .

Oceans sighed and bit her nails nervously, she looked at Roseanne who muttered a “please”.

“ I’ll do as you say ma’am but nobody must know ma” she said fearfully which made Roseanne nod gently.

Oceane walked to the bathroom to fill the tub with water and prepare Roseanne’s bath. She walked out of the bathroom minutes later.

“ Am done making your bath ma’am”

“Okay , you can go “ Roseanne said as she stood from the bed .

“ I’ll stay in your room and pick your outfit ma’am “

Roseanne nodded and sighed out loudly as she walked to the bathroom , a smile made its way to her face as she walked into the bathroom , the beauty of the bathroom is way beyond explanation.

She removed her wedding gown hurriedly and winced slightly from the pain she felt from her injured stomach, she walked nakedly into the jacuzzi and breathe out softly from how warm and comfortable the foamy water feels on her skin.

She giggled like a baby as she rubbed the foamy water on her skin, she spent few minutes washing herself.

She found a towel in the bathroom and tied it to her body. As she made to open the bathroom door, she heard her main entrance door open, she smiled thinking Ocean stepped out but she heard ocean gasp from the room and it followed with a gun shot.

Roseanne’s eyes widen in shock as she held her towel tightly to her body and opened the door hurriedly but she stood frozen on her spot as she saw the deadly scene in front of her.

Ocean’s dead body was lying down in her own cold blood , Roseanne looked up to meet the dangerous eyes of Gerald whose lips curl up into a smirk.

“ Hey wifey , a welcome gift for you , do you like it?“ Gerald said with a smirk on his lips , Roseanne stood frozen as she looked down at ocean dead body on the floor again which made her eyes roll backward as she blacked out and fell to the ground.
