My Dreams Are Gonna Get Shattered!!!

Eloise POV

I awoke late because I was stressed the night before, and I felt nauseous after crying myself to sleep.

I jumped out of bed and dashed to the restroom, where I took a hot shower and wrapped myself in a towel.

I went to my closet and pulled out a blue shirt, black skirt, and black office heels that I usually wear to work.

I was so late that I couldn't eat breakfast, so I ran to the door, clutching my handbag.

"Hello there, darling

The table has already been set with breakfast

Come and enjoy it with us "My father stated.

I turned towards my dad, "sorry dad but I am getting late for work so I will not be able to have breakfast

You need to have it alone."

"Darling, I cannot let you go without having your breakfast."

"Please understand dad, I am getting late," I kissed him on the cheeks and left.

I rushed towards the main road and halted a taxi.

I got into the taxi and he drove towards my office.

"Can you please drive a bit faster, I am getting late."

"I cannot increase the speed because of the new driving rules but I will try my best to get you on time."

"Thank you so much," I said with a small smile.

"Oh lord, if I get late, my boss will surely fire me. He hates me to the core and I am afraid that he will see my face. I cannot let that happen, I cannot give him a chance to fire me." I said to myself.

I had to finish my work early as well since I needed to get to the hospital to attend my surgeon training lessons.

I needed the money, and I knew my father wouldn't give it to me because of my stepmother, and I couldn't work part-time because I wouldn't make enough money, but at this firm, I'll be able to pay for my hospital practice.

I was used to practicing at the location where I had previously relocated, but now that my job has changed, I am forced to practise in my hometown.

My ambition is to become a surgeon, and I will never forget that day. My mother was severely injured, and there were no doctors on hand to save her; she required surgery, but owing to a lack of doctors, she chose to end her life.

I want to be a surgeon and help people, but I need a lot of money to do so. I was unable to obtain a scholarship and must therefore seek alternative funding. I have to put in long hours every day and night.

Today is my first day at that hospital, and I can't afford to be late.

"Please drive quickly"

"I am trying my best mam."

After an hour, I arrived at my workplace, exited the taxi, and paid the driver his fare.

I got into the elevator and hit the button for the third floor.

The elevator on the second floor unexpectedly opened, and I noticed the CEO trying to enter..

Because he was chatting to his security, he didn't see my face.

I hid my face behind my hair and prayed that he wouldn't notice it.

I can't afford to lose this job I'm desperate for cash

I could tell he was looking right at me.

"Eloise, stay still," I told myself. "Everything will be fine if you stay still"

His hand was then coming towards my face, which I noticed. He appeared to be attempting to move my hair away from my face.

I crossed my fingers, hoping he wouldn't see my face.

I closed my eyes since I knew I would lose my job and my dreams would be shattered at that time.

I saw that his hands were getting closer.

"That is it Eloise, You're going to lose your job right now, and your hopes will be shattered when you get home."

"Sir look at this," I heard his guard telling him something.

He shifted his attention towards his guards and the elevator opened, I rushed outside the elevator and ran towards my seat. I was breathing heavily.

"Thank you God for saving me today, I don't know how many days I'm gonna hide but please help me to hide my identity for sometime till I get a new job," I prayed.

"Is everything okay???," The secretary asked me as she saw me breathing heavily.

"Yeah…yeah I am okay," I said while wiping my sweat.

"I don't think that you are fine, Anyways, I saw your work yesterday. You did a great job, Our CEO will be pleased with you."

"I don't think he will be pleased with me."

"He will be, Anyways just do what you are doing now because you are doing great so continue doing the same thing."

"Yes I willThank you so much," I smiled at her.

"Here take this, I brought two drinks for you. You can have one because I feel that you are very tired."

"Thank you so much."

She handed me the drink and left.

I was happy he didn't find out who I was, I started with my work. I had to leave early to the hospital because it was my first day and I couldn't get late as the first impression is the last impression.

I completed my work and left the company as soon as possible as I couldn't let the CEO see me.

Aaron POV

The girl left from the elevator and I didn't get a chance to see her face.

"It's okay this time you got saved but next time if I come across you I will not let you go," I said to myself as I stared at the direction which the girl left.

"Did they leave Ryan???," I questioned my guard.

"Yes, they left sir, They were not ready to leave but our guards threw them out of the company."

"Great,"

I headed towards my cabin, and took a seat.

My secretary entered my cabin and she placed all the documents on my table.

"Sir these are the documents that you asked for."

"Okay."

I started looking at each document which was placed on my table.

I wanted to see the progress of each employee.

"The documents that I place on the left are the ones who will be removed soon from the company if they don't improve so give them a warning," I told my secretary.

"Okay sir," She said while her head was lowered.

"The documents which I will place in the right are the ones who are really good in their work."

"Yes sir,"

I started turning the pages of the documents, there were many which were placed on the left rather than on the right.

I then opened the last document, I was impressed by that girl's work. In just a day she completed so many targets of hers and her ideas were really good.

"Eloise Smith," I took her name.

"What happened to her sir??," My secretary questioned me.

"She is good at her work, Who is she???, She seems new."

"Yes sir, She joined this company yesterday."

"Yesterday???She is so good at her work. In just a day she proved her capability."

"Indeed sir," My secretary smiled at me.

"You can leave now, You Know what to do next."

"Yes sir."

My secretary left, and I told my guards to arrange the files on my secretary's table.

"You are not gonna fire that girl sir??."

"Why should I fire her Ryan??She is good at her work and I need dedicated employees like her. She might surely get a promotion if she continues with this work."

"I will take my leave sir".

"Yes you can."

He left my cabin while holding the files in his hand.

I continued with my work, and after six hours I was done with my work.

So I got up from my seat and carried the gun which I had placed in the lower drawer.

I put the gun in the back of my trousers and left my cabin.

Ryan followed me behind, "we need to head towards the farmhouse sir."

"Yes I know Ryan, I am officially back in business"

"Yes sir, I am so happy that you are finally back."

I took a seat in my car and Ryan drove towards the farm house.

"Sir this company is actually not your business and you know that so why are you still working here. Why are you so dedicated here sir?," Ryan questioned me.

"Ryan we cannot let anyone have a doubt that we are related to the mafia world, You know that I am the king hereafter my dad dying and my grandfather is like my teacher, He keeps teaching me new things just like how he taught my dad. He always tells me one thing, never let your enemies know who you are."

"Okay so you are keeping this job so that no one has a doubt on you???."

"Yes, exactly Ryan, I cannot let anyone doubt that it will be bad for my business."

"Yes sir, Now drive fast because that man will be there, I need to give him a warning."

"What kind of warning sir??".

"You will get to know everything there."

"Okay sir."

Ryan drove as fast as he could and we reached the farm house in an hour.

He opened the door for me, I took out my suit and rolled up my shirt sleeve. Put on my sunglasses and headed inside the farm house.

Ryan followed me inside, my guards opened the door for me and followed me inside along with Ryan.

I took a seat, my guards stood behind me.

I took out my gun, "Where is that man???," I questioned Ryan.

"He will be here any moment sir."

"You know that I hate waiting right Ryan, Then why is he taking so much time to arrive??."

"He will be here any moment sir."

"You told him to get my money right along with the interest that he has to pay me."

"Yes sir, He said he wants to talk to you regarding that."

"I don't wanna talk to Ryan, I want him to pay me my money back."

"Okay sir."

Soon the man arrived and he stood in front of me.

I smiled at him, "Welcome Mr Smith.
