I Will Teach Them a Lesson

Eloise POV

I headed towards the cafe where my boyfriend would meet me.

I was so excited to meet him. After 4 years I am gonna meet him.

I carried my purse and headed towards the living area.

"Where are you going, Eloise???," My dad stopped me.

I turned around facing him, "I am going to meet Travis dad."

"Travis, hmm Okay, Don't get late."

"Yes dad," I smiled at him.

I kissed him on his cheeks, "thank you for supporting me today dad."

"You are my daughter and it's my duty to protect you Eloise, Since your childhood I didn't protect you or stand for you but from now on I will stand for you darling."

I gave him a tight hug, "I love you dad."

"I love you too sweetie,"he said while hugging me back.

I immediately exited my house and proceeded to the cafe where Travis would be waiting for me.

I don't know why I forgot about all my stress which I had gone through today.

All of this is because of my partner Travis's thoughts, which make me forget about everything else.

For me, he is such a sweetheart. While I waited for him, I went to The Caffe and sat down.

The waiter approached me and asked about my order.

"I'm actually waiting for someone. I'll place an order when he arrives" That's what I told the waiter.

"No problems, mam" he exclaimed as he walked away.

Travis entered the coffee shop after a few moments.

I waved towards him, and he waved back at me.

He walked over to me and sat down in front of me.

"Heyy Eloise" he exclaimed, a smile on his face.

"Heyy Travis," I said with a smile.

He called the waiter and placed an order for two cappuccinos.

"You wanted to tell me something important right???, So, what exactly is it? "I smiled as I questioned him.

I was overjoyed to see him

I finally got to see him after four years.

He took a sip of his coffee before turning to face me. He was looking at me with a serious expression on his face.

"Is everything all right?" I inquired.

"Ah… yeah Everything is in working order "With a small smile, he said.

"That does not appear to be the case for me. Are you aware that I am very familiar with you? "I said this as I put my hand over his.

He took his hand away from mine, which he had never done before, so why did he do it now?

"What went wrong???

What made you take your hands off of mine?

You've never done anything like this before "I informed him.

"Yes, I am aware of this

Things were different previously, and things are different now You have to realize, Eloise, that people are going to change They're not going to stay the same"

"What exactly do you mean? Is everything in order?"

"Eloise, everything is OK. I'm not fond of you any longer"

As he whispered those words, tears streamed down my face. What did I do wrong to make myself unworthy of love?

"Did I do anything wrong???," I inquired, "Are you unhappy with me?"

"No, I'm not mad at you, but this long-distance relationship is not for me This isn't for me"

"You don't have to be concerned about that any longer Because I'm going to be moving here I'm coming to stay with you"

"I started dating another girl while you were away and I'm getting married to her shortly So I've come to tell you that I'm ending our relationship"

I didn't say anything since I didn't want to put pressure on him to stay in the relationship because I know he won't love me even if he does.

"Fine then I'm happy for you I'll always be happy for you Travis"

"Thank you for your patience, Eloise I have to leave because my girlfriend is waiting for me"

He slipped the money under the menu card on the table and walked away.

I didn't have that coffee; I had to leave because I was suffocating.

I stood near the bridge and gazed out across the lake.

"Don't I deserve love???," I cried as tears streamed down my cheeks. "I came here to meet him after 4 years" He has no idea how much I miss him, and it's possible that he has never loved me.

That is the reason why it was easy for him to move on. What wrong did I do that I had to deserve this???I am always good to everyone, I never Ill treat anyone. Why should I deserve this??. Will I never get love???," I questioned myself.

Why is this happening with me???My dad doesn't love me and now my boyfriend doesn't love me either.

I think I don't deserve loveThat is the reason why I don't have anyone in my life who will love me.

I have no friends, no relatives, I have no one in my life.

Aaron POV

"The business men are waiting for you in the conference room sir, Are you not gonna go to meet them???," Ryan questioned me.

"Let them wait for a little longer RyanThey wanna end the deal todayWhy should I respect them when they backstabbed me???. Let them wait for a little longer, I want them to know what their place is in my company."

"Okay sir," Ryan took a seat in front of me.

"I heard from one of the guards that you called off the search for the mystery female who rescued you that night?"

"I did, but I don't believe she exists, Because the bracelet is with me and not with her, it must be all in my head I thought I had given the bracelet to the girl who had saved me, but it was all in my head"

"The doctor said that you are suffering from amnesia. You have lost all your past memories, sir."

"Yes I have lost some of my memories from my past. I don't remember a few things. Few people, I need your help Ryan, if I don't be able to recognise anyone who knew before you need to help me recall that person "

"Yes I will sir, You don't need to worry about that because I will always be with you sir, By your side."

"Thank you so much Ryan, I can always count on you."

"Yes you can sir," He smiled at me.

After a few minutes my secretary entered my cabin.

"Sir, your partners are waiting for youThey are getting furious in there because you are making them wait for longer."

"Okay RyanIt's time to meet those backstabbersIt's time to teach them a lesson," I looked at Ryan.

"Let's leave sir, Let's not make them wait for a bit longer."

"Get the files which I told you to keep ready," I looked towards my secretary.

"Yes sirThe files are ready, I will get them along with me."

"Follow me towards the conference room."

"Yes sir,"

I adjusted my suit and headed towards the conference room.

Ryan and my secretary followed me behind.

Ryan opened the door of the conference room for me and I headed inside.

All my business partners stood and greeted me but I didn't greet them back.

I took a seat and they all had a confused reaction in their faces.

"What happened?? take a seat all of you."

"You never behaved like this before AaronThis is the first time you didn't greet usYou never made us wait."

I smiled at them,"hmm I assume that all now know where you stand,"

"What do you mean by that Aaron??," One of my business partners asked me in a cold tone.

"I mean that you all are nothing without me."

"Do you even know why we all are here???" He questioned me.

"I would like to know from your mouth, Why are you here??," I questioned him with a serious tone.

"We are here to break off the deal with you, We don't wanna be your partner anymore, We all are leaving, So by this Mr Arron Johnson, You should know where you stand," He said with a broad smile on his face.

I clenched my fist with anger, "no one dares speak to me in that way and how dare he speak to me in that tone," I said to myself.

"I guess Aaron has nothing to say to us," As he turned around to face the businessmen, he chuckled, and they all laughed with him.

With a harsh tone, I said, "Place the paperwork on the table Bella"

She followed my instructions and placed all of the documents on the table.

"Claw one: When you cancel the contract with me, you must pay me all of the loans that I lend you to establish your firm, with doubled interest, and if you fail to do so, you must sell your company to me" I opened the files and began turning the pages. While my sight was still set in the file, I said with a smile on my face.

"Wha..aatt are you saying.???,'' he said while his words stammered.

I looked at him, and I enjoyed seeing the look on his face, not only his but the other businessmen too.

"That is what you signed up forSo now as you are terminating the contract with me, pay off your loans, I didn't ask you for the money because you were my partner but now as you are not my partner, pay off all the loans."

"RubbishNothing such was written in the contract."

"Bella, Can you please show him this file," I looked towards her and handed her the file.

"Yes sir," She said with a smile.

She showed him the documents, "have a look at them, I suggest you use glasses as you cannot read properly," I said with a Devilish smile on my face..

"How did I not see this while signing the documents with you??," He questioned me.

"Maybe you need to test your eye because you cannot see properly."

"I am sorry Aaron, I don't wanna terminate the contract with you."

"Claws two: I can terminate this contract whenever I want and if I do so you need to still pay off your debts as mentioned in claws one,"

"I said I am sorry Aaron, Please don't terminate this contract with us."

"I can do whatever I want and whenever I want. You are no one to tell me what I should do nextSo now we are not business partners, I am giving you a month to repay your debts. If you cannot do so, sell your company to me, Anyways it's my money."

"Please forgive me Aaron "

"I don't want any business partners, This is not only for him but for all of you."

I stood from my seat and headed towards the exit of the conference room.

"Sir please spare usWe didn't want to break the deal with you but this man poisoned our minds."

"You don't have your own brains??So don't blame him, you are equally at fault," I said in a cold tone.

"I am repeating again, I am only giving you a month to pay off your debts* You can all leave now."

I got out of the conference room, "Ryan, get them all out of my company."

"Yes sir," He replied.

I entered the elevator and noticed that the girl standing opposite me was acting strangely.

"What's up with her? Her hair has completely covered her face." "I told myself."

She appeared to be covering her face from me. "I'd like to see her face if that's the case". I said to myself.
