Eliara woke slowly, the warmth surrounding her making her reluctant to open her eyes. For a few peaceful moments, she remained still, enjoying the comforting feeling before finally lifting her lashes. The first thing she saw was Ronan. He was already awake, lying on his side with one arm wrapped securely around her waist, his golden eyes fixed on her face. Judging by the small smile resting on his lips, he had been watching her sleep for quite some time.

The moment their eyes met, Eliara's chee

  • MATED TO THE ALPHA BROTHERS    brothers

Eliara woke the following morning to the sound of traffic coming from the street below. For a few seconds, she remained beneath the covers, trying to remember where she was. The room was unfamiliar, the bed was softer than the one she was accustomed to, and the steady noise outside was nothing like the quiet mornings she knew in Noctaryn. Then she remembered. Solmara. She sat up, pushed her hair away from her face, and reached for the phone Ronan had left with her the previous evening. He had insisted that she learn how to use it, claiming it would make traveling through the human world easier. She had spent nearly twenty minutes trying to understand its basic functions before deciding that humans had a strange habit of making simple things unnecessarily complicated. Still, she had managed to learn how to check the time. It was earlier than she expected. After getting dressed, she stepped into the adjoining sitting area, where Liora was already awake and scrolling through her ow

Their rooms were on the same floor, close enough that they could move between them without drawing attention. Once the luggage had been taken inside, everyone gathered in one of the larger rooms to discuss what they would do next. The space was comfortable, with a sofa, a small table, a television, and wide windows overlooking the street below. Eliara went straight to the window. From there, she could see people walking along the pavement, cars moving through the traffic, and vendors arranging their goods for the evening. Across the street, a small restaurant had begun filling with customers. A couple stood outside arguing over where to eat, while a little boy tugged at his mother's hand and pointed toward a shop displaying brightly coloured sweets. It was such an ordinary sight that she found herself watching longer than she intended. "What are you looking at?" Ronan asked as he came to stand beside her. "Nothing in particular." He followed her gaze. "You seem very intere

Lucian arranged for their luggage to be loaded into two cabs. Cassian took one with Kael and Lucian, while Ronan entered the other with Eliara and Liora. The driver glanced at the three of them in the back seat before looking at Ronan through the rear-view mirror. "You've picked an interesting place to visit. Traffic can be terrible around this time, but there's plenty to see if you're staying for a few days." "We'll keep that in mind," Ronan replied. The driver started talking almost immediately. He spoke about the roads, the cost of living, the best places to eat, and how the city had changed over the years. He complained about the government, praised a football team, and somehow managed to return to the subject of traffic three separate times. Ronan listened politely, offering a response whenever necessary, while Liora occasionally glanced at Eliara to hide her amusement. Eliara, however, was fascinated by the driver's ability to speak without seeming to need a break. "D

Eliara glanced at a group of young women standing near a café. One of them whispered something to another, and both looked toward Ronan before quickly turning away when they realized they had been noticed. Eliara almost smiled at the sight, but she kept walking. "Humans are interesting," she murmured. Ronan glanced at her. "How so?" "They've been staring at us since we walked in, but none of them has come over to ask anything." "They don't need to," Cassian answered from beside them. "People are naturally curious, especially when they see a group that stand sees out. That doesn't mean they suspect anything supernatural." He was right. In Solmara, humans had their own explanations for the strange things they occasionally heard or witnessed. Stories about vampires, werewolves, witches, and other supernatural beings had existed for generations, passed around as legends, warnings, and accounts of encounters that most people dismissed as imagination. Some believed those stories were t

By the time they landed in Solmara, Cassian had already taken care of their disguises. He had altered their appearances enough to make them look like ordinary travelers, dimming their supernatural auras and helping Kael and Eliara conceal theirs as well. None of them wore anything that suggested royalty, and they had left behind the clothing and accessories that might have identified their positions in their respective kingdoms. They were traveling as a small group of people with no apparent connection to any royal family, and that was exactly how Cassian wanted it. Ronan's appearance had changed considerably. His violet eyes, which were usually difficult to forget once someone had seen them, had become an ordinary shade of brown. His hair looked slightly different, and the sharpness of his features had been softened enough that he no longer carried the unmistakable appearance of the Alpha King. He wore a dark, fitted jacket over a plain shirt, paired with trousers and shoes that mad

  • MATED TO THE ALPHA BROTHERS    change route

They were already prepared to leave Noctaryn when Cassian raised a concern about their travel plans. Their belongings had been packed, and they were ready to head to the landing pad, but he wanted to discuss something before they departed. Ronan was the first to notice that Cassian had stopped instead of following the others toward the exit. He turned back, his expression showing his impatience. They had already spent several days in Noctaryn, and with so many unanswered questions surrounding the attacks, he wanted to reach Nytheris as soon as possible. Kael also paused, while Eliara, Liora, and Lucian waited to hear what had caused the delay. Cassian glanced at the group before speaking. He had been thinking about everything they had discovered since arriving in Noctaryn, particularly the bodies in the cave and the evidence that someone had been conducting experiments involving different supernatural bloodlines. The attacks in the forest had only added to his concerns, especially b
