I tried to speak, but it was so hard to do so. So, I slowly opened my eyes instead. At first, it was hazy, but then, I could see the worried eyes of my mates. It was still so hard to tell them apart, but for some reason, I didn’t wish to.

Two were on either side of my bed, holding my hands, which explained why I couldn’t move, while the other was standing, watching me. I knew at once that he was Lucien, thanks to his brooding attitude.
