I had never been to the vampire territory and I had never dealt with a vampire before so I really didn’t know what the day held for me. AMBERS POV I tried to shake off the taste of Marcus’s blood from my taste buds and forget it but that seemed close to impossible, I felt like I wanted more of that addictive taste but I also didn’t want to go and hunt for it. Even if I was willing to hunt for it, what kind of a creature would I hunt for without raising suspicions or concerns with Chad. CHAD’S POV Amber didn’t look very good and although she said that she was just tired and hungry, I was worried that it might have been something a little more than that. She didn’t look hungry but rather looked like she was coming down with some kind of sickness. AMBER’S POV When we arrived home I just wanted to rest and do absolutely nothing. I realized after I took my shower that I was actually very exhausted and I needed to get some rest.
