AMBER’S POV Now that Chad had opened up to me I kind of felt obliged to open up to him too and tell him everything that I hadn't told him about my parents. CAIN’S POV3Even if my father refused to admit it, he knew that Amber had been gone longer than he had anticipated her to be. I missed her terribly and I didn’t even know what to do with myself in her absence. I had even stopped going for training with the pack hunters because that also reminded me of her. CHAD’S POV I was glad that I had finally managed to get Amber to open up to me but at the same time, my conversation with her had left me infuriated. I hadn't expected the extent of the abuse that she was subjected to by her father but the fact that it was not only caught me off guard but angered me at the same time. I had been trying to figure out how best to deal with this without turning myself into a complete animal and the only thing that I could think of was that I had to take care of this man. CHAD’S POV At first, Jeff thought that the long way to alpha Robert’s pack would calm me down but he soon realized that was in no mood to play games and I was determined to fulfill my mission. CHAD’S POV When I woke up, I woke up to Amber complaining right next to me, it sounded like she was complaining about the fact that I was lying unconscious and how she should have just followed me. She was angry with me for not allowing her to follow me to her father’s pack and she was pacing up and down in the room and she couldn’t even see that I had woken up. AMBER’S POV I couldn’t bear the thought of placing everyone else in danger all because of me and the decisions that I had made. I had chosen to join the vampire coven and I had chosen to come here as a spy for them, I couldn’t risk the lives of the very people that I had intended to kill. I couldn’t even celebrate my father’s death because I was now so worried about the new threat that had been made against my life. I wanted to confront Natasha and ask her why she had chosen to betray the king that she had claimed to love so much but I decided to let her be because the perfect person to confront her about that was Chad. He was the king and she owed her loyalty to him and not me, she owed him an apology and not me. I also felt like I would be a hypocrite if I confronted her because at the end of the day I had come into the royal city as a spy for the vampire too.I didn’t know what to do with myself once more, Chad was back and he was safe but now something else was making me restless
