~3RD PERSON'S POV~

“What’s wrong with her?” Anaya asked as she stared at Mary. They had knocked Mary out completely, but no matter what they tried, she wouldn't wake up. Edith poured water over Mary's face multiple times, but nothing happened.

“Maybe we've succeeded in breaking her mind completely, ” Edith said.

“No, that can't be it. She's still alive, so at least that's a good thing. She's probably just down from me hitting her head multiple times. She'll wake up eventually. Let's take the time to rest a bit,” Anaya said, walking out of the room. Edith stared at Mary for a few seconds, then followed behind Anaya.

“We need to get her to be able to control that aura; if not, we won't be able to use it in the creation of the new weapons,” Anaya said.

“Don’t worry, I'm sure she'll get the hang of it really soon,” Edith said with a smile, placing a cup of hot tea on Anaya's table.
