CHAPTER 147

Zion

When I got home I was told that Aria had gone to purify the main tap. I couldn't get what Patricia was trying to explain, even though I gave her my full attention.

I was getting worried, so I asked Bruno to get the car she had gone in and we managed to track them down. I could tell that they were not so far away so I just waited.

After a few minutes, the car got home, and when the door opened, Aria was weakly lying on the seat. I rushed to pick her from the car.

I was so mad nobody told me a thing when all this was going on. Seeing Aria in a weak state just pierced through my entire being.

I was hopeful that she would come around the next morning so I just fell asleep on a chair beside her in case she needed something.

The next morning, a movement from her legs woke me up, and I quickly looked at her, thinking she needed something, but she assured me that she was OK.

We took a shower and then later had breakfast together before going to check on Deveny who was still
