I walk into the house and my mom and dad basically bolt towards the door and hug me in unison. "Honey, where were you?? Are you okay? Did something happen?" My mom asks, fear and worry in here eyes. "Yeah yesterday was pretty intense..." I tell Lexi and Tony as we sit around on the lunch table. "Sorry we didn't tell you anything." Lexi says with an apologetic smile. "It's okay. Reece and I exchanged numbers after he dropped me home from Pops' yesterday and for some reason I've been expecting him to message me. He hasn't though, at least not yet. I put on my soft Peter rabbit flip flops and walk over to my window to watch the sunset. The sight of the sun setting gives the sky a sort of reddish orange look and it makes me think about Charles. With all that has happened since I learnt about my true nature, I don't know what will become of Charles and I. Lexi and Tony won't shut up about this whole mate bond thing and it's driving me nuts.
