“What is the plan?” Elizabeth asked her father immediately as they entered the living room. She had been hurt seeing Lucas marry someone else right in front of her! She had wanted to cause a scene earlier, accusing Kate of stealing her man and taking away the status of being Mrs. Romano from her.

In the beginning, she had befriended Lucas because her father ordered her to do so and wanted to forge an alliance with the most powerful mafia gang in the country. But after spending time with Lucas and experiencing what it seemed like for a man like Lucas to love a woman, Elizabeth deviated from her father's plan.

She became greedy for more. She wanted to own the man completely, his heart and everything he had.
