TAYLOR

Breakfast was… eventful. Michael did quite a lot to me, especially with his tongue and I could say that I saw heaven one too many times to count.

Then we went for a walk at the poolside and seeing him in only shorts under the sun was a magnificent sight for my eyes to feed on. He looked perfect.

As we stood by the poolside, a hotel staff walked up to us and handed a phone over to Michael and we both looked at her questioningly.

Then I turned to Fernandez who had just started to roll the bandage he held around my shoulder. “How long is this going to take?” I asked him as sweat beads coated my forehead and dripped down the sides of my face.I was in pain but I'd experienced worse so I knew I would survive it. Then we spent the rest of the time watching TV together and I had to admit, the show was a good one.Yet, I kept getting distracted with worried thoughts about Michael. Then he got the door for me and I stopped out of the car.Adjusting my suit, I took a good look at the building before me and I couldn't help but wonder what my father's decision about Carlos was going to be.“Wait here, Fernandez.     CHAPTER 98 TAYLOR The entire journey back home was quiet and the tension hanging in the air was killing me. I had no idea what to say to Michael after his reaction back in the hotel and I had one burning question on my mind until we reached the penthouse and went to our separate rooms… Did I say something wrong? It felt like we were back to square one. Back to the way things were when we were both so distant to each other and lacked basic communication skills. All I wished for was him to tell what bothered him so much about Carlos's dealings but I guess I touched a soft spot with my words and now, he wouldn't even look at me. After dropping my luggage in the closet and having a quick shower, I wore a simple dress and grabbed a brush to comb through my hair but then I heard Michael open the door to his room and I wondered if he was leaving to see his dad already.
