chapter 5

Victor pov

After Lilith went to her room I was alone with Liam in his room he kept saying sorry but no I was not angry on him I was hurt because of him so I ignored him

I didn't care to ask the reason why he did that because it don't matter to me I always trusted him and he did that

I'm so disappointed In him

Few minutes later Anthon and twins entered the room and they checked up on Liam and then soon doctor came and he checked up on Liam

Doctor said he will be fine soon we just need to take care of him and I sighed in relief

I then went outside of Liam room to leave doctor till the exit when I noticed that Lilith's room light was still on and I thought she was not asleep yet

I barged into her room and she was not only awake but playing with her phone so I really got mad

I was already tensed about many thing

I never show it but I really have lots of stress and tension

From financial tension to taking care of my brothers and of Lilith and many more things

And It came out of Lilith

I snatched her phone and then went to my room to have a sleep 

As I sat on my bed I kept my phone and Lilith's phone on bedside table and something was opened in her phone it was an app called as "my personal diary" I went through it I know it's wrong to read someone's personal diary but I'm her brother I should know  what all is she going through I read all the things she wrote in that and I was in tears and I decided to talk to her about that things tomorrow

Then I kept her phone aside and then slept

Liam pov

I got up by the sunlight coming on my face

No one was talking to me because of yesterday's incicident except Lilith

I got up from my bed and then quickly took a shower and changed into a sweat pants and T-shirt

I went downstairs and saw everyone was already on the table.

"Good morning everybody" i said smiling and sat beside Lilith but no one replied to me except her "Good morning brother , I hope You slept well" she said and checked my forehead like My mother "yes mother I'm fine now" I said and chuckled while twins left out a laugh but stopped when they saw the look on victors face

We quietly ate the breakfast and went our own ways

Lilith pov

Everyone finished their breakfast and went their separate ways and just as yesterday I was still left and I looked up to Victor who was already looking at me

"I'm gonna finish this don't worry" I said pointing towards the breakfast

"Finish it then , I'm waiting" he said and was still looking at me

I tried finishing It but I was not able to complete it

"if you will not finish it you won't get enough nutrients" he said

"Im really full,  I'm will get blast if I'll eat more" I said looking down nervously

"I said I want it to be finish, I will sit here whole day to make you finish this" he said and I can say he was not joking he was actually serious

I gulped down whatever was left in the plate and then looked at him happily and said "see I finished it" and he tried his best to hide his smile while someone patted on my head "good job princess" and I looked up to saw Anthon  "thank you" I mumbled

"Lilith I wanted to talk to you about something and I hope you answer it without lying to me" I nodded

We both went into victors office

I sat on couch and he sat on the chair opposite me

"So tell me everything about your past life Lilith without lying" He said staring deeply into my eyes

"I-i lived a h-hap-py chil-d-ho-od with Mo-m and D-d-ad" I stuttered

"I said only truth Lilith" he said and I was confused do he know Anything? How?

"-i-im s-peakin-g the truth" I replied

"if your are telling the truth why are you suttering?  For God sake you just came Yesterday and you already started lying" he said and pass his hand through his hair and not gonna lie I was scared d

I looked down and tears already came in my eyes just thinking about the past

"Look up into my eyes" he said and quietly looked up to him and my tears started falling

He got up from the chair and sat beside me while patting my back and after 8 to 10 mins I finished crying and I was ready to open up to him

"I didn't live a happy childhood" I said looking back at him

"I know Lilith I actually read your diary in your phone but i didn't read the whole thing I want you to tell me" he said and I nodded

"since I was a kid mom always yelled me and sometimes she even beat me but she used to love me then one day she got a boyfriend and then she got married to him and after she married him he used to create problems between me and mom and she started hating me and then she used to abuse me more and more each other and then suddenly one day dad also started beating me . They always went to club and get drunk and then when they came back they used to beat me to hell and then on that day when mom dad got into an accident they beat me to the hell a-nd t-h-eey even tried to stab me with the knife but I ran out of the house and they r-a-n be-hi-nd me and that's how they got into an a-ccid-ent" I finally let everything out in front of him and till that time I was a crying mess and victor also had tears in his eyes

I hold onto the sleeves on his shoulder and looked at him in eyes for the first time without getting scared "p-plea-se don't hand me over to police please I really didn't mean to run and get them into accident" I sobbed harder "please I don't want to go into prison " I begged him

He patted on my head and said "sushhh princess no one is sending you to prison its not your fault okay? I'm sorry I was not there to protect you but now I promise no one will do that you ever again.  Your big brother will always protect his little princess" he said hugging me for the first time I felt safe with him

"We all are gonna protect our little sister" I heard and then turned to see it was Liam with all the other brothers and they came inside

"don't worry princess you are safe here" said Anthon

"you have this strong brother with you so don't worry" said kabir while pointing at himself

"don't be scared anymore okay?" said Karen

"Okay" I said to them and then looked at Victor who was smiling looking at me And had tears In his eyes

Let's have a group hug kabir said and we all did as he said

We did a group Hug and Karen said always remember "Oberoi's are strong and Oberoi princess is strong too" he said while we all chuckled
