Chapter 57

The first thing Keith Jefferson did when he walked in was to hug his son very tight as he assured him Alexandra would be fine by God's grace.

He then greeted everyone around including the doctors and then proceeded to Alexandra's side. He bent close to her ears and whispered "Your future dad-in-law is here and I want you to see that I'm more handsome that your boyfriend".

There was an immediate reaction on the life support machine as 70% of her organs responded all of a sudden and everyone in the room gasped with joy.

Keith smiled and said to Kirklin "You know what? ... I told her that I'm more handsome than you and she agreed"

Everyone laughed for the first time and the atmosphere changed. The machine beeped again and Kirklin knew Alexandra was protesting what his father said.
