Chapter 4: Broken

~2:30 a.m.

Evelyn's P.O.V. 

I opened my eyes and slowly got up. I found myself untied. I checked the time. It was beyond midnight. I glanced my surroundings only to find myself alone in this huge bedroom. I found a balcony. I slowly got up as my ankle was hurting badly and headed towards it. It was not so high.

An idea of running flashed in my mind. I immediately locked the door. I pulled of the bedsheets and quickly tied them up to the metal railing of the balcony so as to go down. I eventually made to the ground and dashed towards the main gate.

It was so dark making it difficult for me. I saw some guards over there. 

Damn!!!

Evelyn: Now what?
