Episode 52 Lunch Date

“What the hel….” Mishka turned and screeched loudly, but watching Christian’s intense eyes pinned at her. Mishka’s next word died in her throat.

“I'm taking my wife out for lunch, so you, my dear cousin, better focus on your work and stop intruding between the newlywed couple,” Christian said in a domineering voice, one that sends chills down the spine, and without waiting for his response, he disconnected the call.

“Who decided we are going out?” Mishka asked, folding her arms beneath her breast.

“I decided,” Christian responded calmly, and before Mishka could react, he continued, “It’s my way of saying thank you for the help you provided today and the last time.”

Mishka looked at him, narrowing her eyes, “It’s fine. There is no need for you to take me out for a lunch.” She answered, and Christian slightly opened his mouth at her blunt refusal. Danny, on the other hand, was amazed, too.
