CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

MARY LYNELLE'S POV

I woke up at already noon the next day. I glanced from the other side of the bed. Henry was gone. I'm too lazy to get up because I'm exhausted and sleepy. When I realized that it was past eleven in the morning according to the clock on the wall, I quickly got up.

Because we woke up in the middle of the night, and we did it twice.

I went to the bathroom and took a shower to relax my body. After taking off my clothes, I looked in the mirror and examined the hickeys Henry put on my chest and stomach. It's good that there is no mark on my neck, and he’ll be dead.

I soaked in the bathtub first before deciding to take a bath. It was nice to soak in warm water so the pain in my body gradually decreased.
