Chapter 30 – The Queen Gains Justice
Sneaking inside the seventh tower was easy. For some reason, there were no guards posted in every hallway entrance and in every room. Hope would have been prepared to encounter one or two during her search; this was the reason why she remained in this cursed gown after all—to seduce them and then incapacitate them—but there were no obstacles along her way.She wanted this, however. The better and quicker she could find Solene if there were no setbacks.
Her wedge sandals brought her freely to different rooms: the first one was a gym, the second was an entire floor of training and sparring space, the third was the bath, and the fourth was the weapons’ room. She continued checking all the chambers in every floor, and with each opening of a door, Hope’s idea of the tower strengthened.

Chapter 37 – The Scythe-Wielding QueenWith a bird's-eye view now, Solene could properly examine the volcano's opening and it was oddly shaped. It was conical, yes, but it was sloping on one side to allow two elements to flow freely down the base: lava and water. It created a river system that Solene failed to see in her side of the arena. Subconsciously, she felt thankful she didn't need to traverse in this part of the volcano. She had her familiar now to take her directly to the volcano's mouth, and that's what exactly it did.Closer, she was able to determine a safe landing area.
