A smile appeared on Elizabeth's lips, she was so happy about the results.

Emma wasn't pleased with what she heard, she had hoped that the pregnancy wasn't Liam's. Liam didn't expect the child to be his as well.

“I'm so happy,” Elizabeth squealed, clapping her hands excitedly. “Thank you so much, doctor,”

“You're welcome, ma'am,” The doctor replied and kept the result back in the envelope. He handed the envelope over to Elizabeth.

Emma stood to her feet and muttered, “Please excuse me,”

She grabbed her bag from the doctor's table and stormed out of his office.

“Emma,” Liam called, but she didn't spare him a glance. “Emma, wait!” Liam urged and rushed out of the office.

“Are you angry?” He asked, following her from behind.

Emma stopped walking and faced him.

“I'm not angry, I'm just…" Emma trailed off.

“Yes, I'm angry!” She exclaimed honestly. “I didn't want the child to be yours, I wanted her away from our family for good but now, you can't send her back to prison and neither can you
