CHAPTER 15

The Freaks just had their math and Physics class. But their physics teacher was still in class as he assigned them a project by pairing them in twos.

"Its more like a science fair ok? I'll pair you in twos. This project would take two weeks and on the 14th day you all are coming out here to defend your projects. Ok? Let the best win" he said as the class applauded.

"Now listen to your names as I pair you" he said staring at the sheet of paper in front of him while he called out the names.

"Agnes James and Sam Lee,

Sophia Woods and Peter Parker,

Theophillus Luke and Finn Webs,

Sarah Bellos and Elena Gilbert,

Rhoda Forbes and Thelma Nick,

Laura Saltzman and Alex Bennett... "

he continued calling the name's until he got to the last.

"After school today, locate your partners and discuss what you people would do as your project. Let the best win the prize. Good luck guys" he said and left the class as the class became roudy immediately.

Elena stood up to go meet Sarah, she was so glad because she would be closer to her now and maybe know some things that might be helpful.

She walked towards her seat but couldn't find her, maybe she would meet her the next day in school and talk about the project. But Elena would had sworn that Sarah was in class few minutes ago before the physics teacher left.

There was only one word she could think of *Weirdo*

The bell for closure was rung as everyone left the class after packing their bags, in twos and threes.

"I can't believe I was paired with Sophia, I so much hate that girl!" Peter complained as they laughed.

"I heard that!" Sophia said as she walked past them with her friends. She got to their front and stopped.

"Seems I'll be having my project with you. I just hope you ain't a dumbass" Sophia said and wagged her fingers at him while her friends giggled.

"Well, he should be asking you that" Laura said defending Peter.

"Shut up you brunette, I wasn't talking to you" Sophia said.

"You're talking to our friend, you're literally talking to all of us" Laura snapped back.

"Whatever! We'll meet tomorrow, I have better things to do than arguing with an imbecile" she said as she and her crew walked away.

"I just hope I don't get killed during this project" Peter said wiping the sweat off his face as his friends laughed.

They got to Bonnie's school, but Fay had took her home already.

"So Elena, you'll be pairing with Sarah, that's a good one" Alex said as his friends nodded and they commented on that fact the more as they walked home.

"Things just got interesting" Laura smiled.

They decided to go to Alex home so Bonnie would help them decipher the journal.

She was playing with Fay at the parlor when they gotbthere. She ran to hug Peter when they arrived.

"How's my little wife doing?" Peter teased her touching her nose as she laughed.

Alex whispered something to Fay, she nodded and walked up to Bonnie, taking her bag from the couch.

"Bonnie, I'd be going home now" Fay said squatting beside her as her face fell.

"Why leaving so early?' Bonnie asked.

"You see, I've got something I gotta do at home. Alex said he would look after you" Fay lied

"Ok, I just hope it's worth it"Bonnie said giving her a hug as she stood up and left, saying bye to the Freaks.

Immediately Fay left, Bonnie frowned

"I know you asked her to leave" Bonnie said to Alex who swallowed hard.

"Yh, cause we have business to discuss " Alex said.

"What are you guys up to this time" she thought.

"And which is?" She asked.

Elena walked up to her and showed her the photo of the writings on her phone. Bonnie stared at it and all she could see were strange words.

She stared at these strange words on the photo Elena took and smirked.

They could all tell it was Latin words but the way Bonnie stared and smirked at it was strange.

"I don't know what that is" she blurted out and was walking to her room as Alex held her back.

"You're lying Bonnie. You are just 8. Who taught you how to lie?" Alex asked her as she loosen his grip and folded her arms.

"Yh, I'm just eight, how do you expect me to understand that language?" She asked lackadaisical.

"Because it's Latin and I know you do understand Latin. Remember the letter you wrote to Peter the other day? It was encoded in Latin too" Alex said as she huffed.

"I still don't know what you are talking about. Take that away from me" she said feigning annoyance

Elena winked at Peter who nodded.

"My little beautiful wife " Peter called on to her and she smiled.

"You look so beautiful today" He commented as she frowned.

"You wanna ask me something right?" She asked as Peter got stoned.

"Ahhh.. No... Em actually yes. Please can you do this for me? Remember love is all about sacrifices. If you claim you love me, you'll have to do this for me" he said as she calmed down.

"Ok, I'm gonna do it under one condition" she said.

"And which is?' He asked as she smiled.

"You'll follow me to my school tomorrow, you'll stay with me till school closes and bring me back home. I wanna spend the whole day with you" she said as everyone in the room exchanged glances.

"I have a project I'll start working on from tomorrow" he said as she scoffed.

"Then you are not ready, remember love is all about sacrifices?" She asked as Elena marveled at how smart an 8 years old could be.

"Ok deal" Peter said as she smiled.

"That's my man" she said as she took the phone from Elena.

"I need a book. I'm gonna decipher it on a book. I'm too scared to read it out. What's written there is scary. I'll write it on a book and give it to you guys. I think that book came from hell" Bonnie said as Laura brought a book from her bag and handled it to her.

"Bonnie, what's the meaning of In libro de morte?" Elena asked remembering when Laura's grandpa told them about a book like that and they saw that same name on sarah's journal.

"Its a Latin word that means 'The book of Death" Bonnie said as she started deciphering the journal.

They all wondered what would come out of the journal.
