Chapter 214 Gabriel

Gabriel's POV

I climb into the back seat next to Asher. He's holding Malaki in his lap, holding him sideways so the wood doesn't press against anything.

As soon as we're settled into the back seat I hear whimpers come from our little mate in my arms.

I look down at him to see he's looking horrified at the giant chunk of wood protruding from Malaki's stomach. Malaki smiles at him and tries to reach for him.

I swallow the lump in my throat as I watch his little hand reach for Malaki's. He leans forward then stares at Malaki's hand that's wrapped around his tiny hand.

Looking at his hand amazed. I can only assume it's because he's feeling the mate bond. He's feeling those amazing little tingles and zaps from Malaki's hand.
