Chapter Two

When the sun came up I went to my bathroom and got in the shower

After I was done I looked at myself in the mirror and saw all the bruises and scars. I shook my head and got dressed and put on makeup to hide the bruises on my face.

I went down and saw Rosy was already dressed and giggling as her uncle Corey was tickling her

"Mommy!" She yelled and run to me

"Hey my little rose," I said and kissed her cheek as I picked her up

"Breakfast is ready kids!" Dad yelled

We went to the dining room and sat down. As we are the pancakes there was a knock on the door making me freeze.

"It's okay it's just my ride hun," Dad said and kissed my head as well as Rosy's before leaving

"We should go too, Corey you sure you can look after Rosy for a while?" Felix said

"Sure I'd love to," Corey said

I said goodbye to Rosy and Corey before Felix and I left. When we got to the office where Felix worked many greeted him and someone even gave him a cup of coffee.

"You're famous here," I said

"It's all my looks and charms, Lil sis," he said making me laugh

"Felix you're here good they're already in there and in a very bad mood," A guy said

"Dante this is Arora, my sister. Stay here for a second with her please while I talk to the boss and his acquaintance," Felix said

"Sure dude. Hey it's nice to meet you," Dante said and I shook his hand saying the same

Felix went in and we stayed behind. After a few seconds, we heard something being thrown against the door near us

"Remember John we won't tell you twice," a guy said angrily as he came out of the office with two other guys

"Fuck off Matteo you'll never get away with this!" John yelled

"John hash!" My brother said and looked at me

"Who is this beauty?" One of the two guys asked

"She's my sister Arora she's here for a job," Felix said

"Don't work with a fucking sexist dick like him he'll only let you work here if you have sex with him," Matteo said

John grabbed something and threw it to us Matteo catches it before it hit me in the face

"Like I said he's a dick. I have a secretary job open if you'd like it's yours call me," Matteo said and gave Dante the vase John wanted to throw at me before turning to my brother

"My offers still stand. You, Dante, and your sister can join me at my offices for more money and a better learning experience. This place will fall and you don't want to be jobless," Matteo said and left with the other two following him

"Pack you're stuff and leave. You and Dante are fired. Just looking at you three makes me want to vomit

Dante and Felix smiled and Dante took my arm and we as we walked back to the elevator he and my brother grabbed a box before we walked further

"That was just weird I thought you said you like working here?" I said

"I said I like working at my job, not this one. Dante and I were going to leave months ago. And the boss you just met him," Felix said as we turned to get in the elevator

"What took you so long?" Matteo asked smiling

"Arora met Matteo, Dominic, and Alex the people were working for," Dante said

"So she's working for us now?" Dominic asked

"You still want me and Felix to work for you? Then yes," Dante said

"What happened to your face?" Matteo asked and I looked at him shocked

"My mother used to wear makeup to hide bruises so I got good telling when women do that," He said

"Her ex-husband did it," Felix said

"Still my husband," I said

"You didn't divorce him?" Alex asked

"All I thought about last night is getting my daughter out of that place," I said

"You have a daughter?" Matteo asked

"Yeah Rosemary but we call her Rosy she's 5," Felix said

"Who's the guy?" Matteo asked

"It doesn't matter he's out of our lives," I said

"You live with your brothers and father it would be the first place he'd look," Alex said

"He doesn't know where they live. Only their old address," I said

"Even if he knew where we lived I would kill him if he gets near them," Felix said just before we got to the lobby

"Take your sister home and get some rest you three start Monday," Matteo said

"Thanks, Matteo," Felix said and we went our separate ways

When Felix and I got home Corey and Rosy were playing. Felix got out his phone and took a picture

"Wow you're the cutest princess," Felix said making him look up

"It looks like someone got into my make-up," I said and rosy smiled

"Doesn't he look pretty, mommy?" Rosy said smiling

"He looks like a princess," Felix said making Corey groan

"How about we go shopping and get you two some new things?" Felix said and Rosy smiled and ran to him

"Corey get cleaned up and then we can go," I said trying my best not to laugh
