Sarah’s POV

Morning came in a flash. The sunlight filtered through the window, casting a glow on my face, and I groaned.

I hissed when I tried to get out of bed, feeling the discomfort in my nether regions. Then it suddenly hit me–Vincenzo had ruthlessly ravaged me last night, forcing me to cry out over and over until he was satisfied. Not only did my body ache, but my throat also.

After drinking a little water, I headed to the bathroom to freshen up.

I almost fell back in shock when I saw the pink and purple marks on my skin–they were quite glaring.

“How ruthless,” I muttered under my breath, gritting my teeth as I went to shower.

I had no makeup for now, so I could only try to cover the marks with clothing.

I wrapped a scarf around my neck, where the most glaring hickey rested, before walking downstairs to have breakfast.
