57| Her Father

Amaira's POV

As the sun rays began to prick my skin, I stirred in my sleep. It was a little difficult for me to adjust to the lights and open my eyes, but I made it by blinking multiple times. I yawned and stretched as much as I could.

Dominic was sitting on the chair beside the bed when I opened my eyes and my vision became clear. His legs were crossed on the bed, one on top of the other, and he was reading a book with a spectacle resting on his nose.

"Hmmm.... Finally you are awake" he said closing the book with a snap. His words grabbed my attention and I looked up to see the time.

My eyes widened. It was 3'O clock of the afternoon. I slept so long?

"Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked the obvious question, looking at him with the same expressions of shock.

"Because you were looking cute, sleeping carelessly," he smiled, drawing my brows together, "it's just because you had a long and tiresome day yesterday. I only wanted you and our baby to have enough rest" He went on to expl

I feel like Dominc needs to open himself up to her. His past and relationship with his dad something. I feel like it’s just going in circle or nowhere really, when all they mention is the baby and how she basically can’t have a life.
