Iesha's POV

"Good morning!" I heard a familiar voice greeting me and when I opened my eyes, I found out it was Belle.

"Belle!" I exclaimed and without warning, I engulfed her in a sweet hug.

She let me hug her but after a while, she pulled away. Giving me weird glances as if trying to read my expression but her next question surprised me.

"Did you have an affair with the grandmaster?"

"And where did you get that?" I had curled my hands into fist.

"From Victoria's slave."

Hearing this, I realised it was really nothing to worry about. I had bumped into her on my way out not knowing she actually remembered me even if we hardly talked in the slave centre.

Seeing Belle's curious eyes, I knew I had to explain.

"I didn't have an affair with him. It was more like a conversation." I cleared the air yet her surprised gaze refused to die down.

"What?" She took a seat close to me trying to process all I had just said.

"Did he do anything to you?"

"No but… I think he knows my mom."
