Chapter 5. Never See

4 days earlier I met Joshua, the prospective groom. It's not easy to meet him for everyone but for me, he opened the door wide to welcome me. 

"Mr Zyo, nice to meet you. It's a rare opportunity to have someone like you visit."

Such a friendly welcome. He must think it's about work. Because someone like him will definitely receive opportunities from anywhere. 

"I'm not here to do business but to start a family," I said without much ado. 

His brow furrowed when I showed him a photo of a beautiful girl. The girl my uncle betrothed to me, but I reject. For me, the girl I want just like Emma, my beautifull wife. 

"She's my cousin, the daughter of a famous Billionaire in Milan. Her father wants me to find a mate for her and I think you're the right person," I persuaded him. 

He looked at the photo and smiled, "I'm sorry sir, I already have a girlfriend and in a few days we will get married," he said, returning the girl's photo to me. 

"To be honest, I don't like rejection, but—"

"Hahaha, you could be joking."

He thought I was joking, even though my face was still serious looking at him. He should understand, this code is from me.

He had to withdraw from his marriage. it was natural for him to refuse because he loved his lover, but if he thought again, he wanted love or life. But unfortunately, he would rather die. 

Today, I fulfilled my promise to come to Marry Saviour's daughter's wedding. She invited the wrong person. Her beloved daughter should be happy at her dream wedding. but this party is getting very tense

The shooting was carried out by air. No one expected that the helicopter flying low was ignored by those who were busy watching the bride and groom. My chosen sniper aimed at Joshua's head. People ran for their lives. Meanwhile the bride-to-be got into my car. 

"Where are you taking me?!" She snapped. Her voice was firm, she was brave. and I'm ready to test her courage. 

I didn't answer and she got even angrier, "If you don't answer then I'll scream, help—eumph—eumph"

I covered her mouth with a handkerchief until she got tired of making noisy. "If you want to be alive and breathing, then you better shut up and just follow where I will take you."

"You won't get what you want from me, Sir, because you have no rights!"

If she knew who I was, would she dare to yell at me so many times?

When we arrived at the airport, I grabbed her arm and carried her bridal style. She is my bride who I should carry. 

"Sir, you kidnapped me and made my mother worried. If anything happens to her, I will sue you to hell!"

I snorted softly, not paying attention to her chatter. Her mother won't worry because I've already arranged everything. 

I sat her in a chair, buckled her up and again, she protested. "How long will my eyes be closed?"

No one knows me and knows who I am, let alone someone who will hate me. She will never see my face before her heart moves to me

I didn't answer and sat next to her. Meanwhile the plane started leaving for Milan. My cell phone vibrated, a text came in saying 'Joshua Heigen has died'

The plane starts to move along the track, takes off. After several minutes in the air, I gave a code for Genaro to sit in my place next to Arabella. 

When I stood up, the flight attendant was preparing to provide food and drinks. “Untie her eyes and handcuffs,” I said, whispering to the flight attendant. 

She must have been hungry and thirsty because it was quite a long journey from the location to the airport.

I entered the room. Let her breathe a sigh of relief. 

Just as I closed the door, her anger boomed and Genaro became the target of her anger. 

"Why do you have to take me far away? All this will never make me reluctant to marry you!"

"You think you are comparable to my lover, hmm, you are nothing, not even half of him!"

The one you saw was Genaro, not me Arabella. I took a slow breath. Joshua's death will be a life debt to me. Joshua's father, who has helped me legalize my business all this time, will definitely find out who dared to kill his proud son. 

And Arabella will be the one who will be blamed and suspected for disappearing when her future husband dies. if Joshua's father finds out Arabella is with me then this will be an inevitable big scandal.
