Chapter 4: Could I Tame Him?

Sylvana

I’m getting married today.

From today forward my body will belong to Domenico Dragonetti to do with it as he pleases, and I have a feeling I will not come out unscathed. Dante mentioned someone coming to preside over the ceremony tonight, so that leaves me with a few hours to myself.

I can’t marry Domenico… even if every inch of my body yearned for him, I couldn’t allow myself to be his. But what choice did I have now? My family were all gone and with no one to contact the Capobastone, where does that leave me?

I sigh and walk over to the window that leads out to a small terrace. Perhaps being married to a Dragonetti wouldn’t be as bad as I think? Look at Sienna and Dante. But then again, Sienna had to marry Dante in a marriage arranged between families. She wasn’t a pawn in an act of revenge, as I was.

Thinking back to when I arrived here, Dante’s entire body language changed as soon as he saw her. Anyone could see they were in love with one another, even if being married

Do you think Sienna is being too lenient on Sylvana?

Personally I don’t think so. Sienna is very smart and observant I feel that if she saw Sylvana as a danger to her family she wouldn’t act like this. Sienna also tested Sylvana and she passed.
