“Wait, ikaw ‘yan?”

Nadine’s eyes widened the moment lumabas ako ng dressing room.

Natawa ako, remembering the look on Kalix’s face before he left this morning. He was in the middle of adjusting his cufflinks nang lumabas ako ng kwarto. Napahi

  • Maid for the Billionaire (Tagalog)   Special Chapter: 2

Maybe it was the way Mama smiled kanina habang tinititigan si Papa. Anniversary nila today. Seventeenth. Seventeen years of chaos, healing, and somehow… kilig pa rin. Kaya ngayon, habang nakatali ang buhok ko at may apron akong “Borrowed from Chef Nadine,” I’m standing sa kitchen ng beach house, holding a recipe card that says: Baked Salmon with Honey Glaze. Ambisyosa? Oo. Pero love ko sila eh. “Okay, preheat oven to—wait, paano ba ‘to buksan?” Hinila ko ‘yung oven door. Nawala ‘yung gloves. Nawala ‘yung confidence. “OH MY GOD.” Nadinig ko ‘yung footsteps. “Elle?” Si Ninong James. Of course. Wala siyang ibang timin

  • Maid for the Billionaire (Tagalog)   Special Chapter: 1

[Lecille Zaira Feliciano-Alcantara—1st POV]I used to think love was something people outgrew. Honeymoon stuff. Temporary. But then I look at my parents. And suddenly, I want that kind of love too.“Elle, bring the mango float!” sigaw ni Mama mula sa labas. “Baka matunaw na ‘yan!”I rolled my eyes playfully, tiningnan ‘yung tray na may nakapatong pang sticky note:“Wag mong kainin ang toppings, anak. Nakikita kita. It was late afternoon, the sky golden-pink, and Papa was busy lighting fairy lights habang si Mama, barefoot as usual, nag-aayos ng mga plato. They still act like teenagers.Like they don’t know the world has already hurt them once. And I love that.“Your mom’s gonna outshine the lights again,” Papa muttered, smirking as he glanced at Ma

  • Maid for the Billionaire (Tagalog)   Epilogue

I wasn’t really listening. I was staring. She was short—barely reached five-three, maybe. Her uniform was a little loose, hindi bagong laba, pero maayos. Yung buhok niya naka-bun, messy, but that makes her extr beautiful. And she was talking to the vending machine. “Isa ka pa. Kasabwat ka rin nila sa buhay ko?” she muttered, giving it one last useless tap before she sighed and turned away. I chuckled. She heard that. Our eyes met—just for a second. Walang kilig. Walang dramatic background music. She just blinked… then walked away. Wala man lang, “Hi, pogi” o “Aren’t you that varsity guy?”

“Love, natapon ‘yung juice—”“Sa basahan?” Kalix called out from the kitchen.I peeked over the half-wall, holding the toddler-sized cup like it was a crime weapon. “Yup. Sa rug na handmade. Yung galing sa Ilocos. Na mahal.”He laughed, shook his head, and walked over with a cloth and spray. “A rug is just a rug, Naya. I mumbled, though I smiled as I handed him the cup.Ganito na kami ngayon. Simple. Tahimik. Three years had passed since the last storm. At sa wakas, nasa dulo na kami.Kalix wiped the stain, tousled Elle’s soft hair, and kissed my cheek on his way back to the kitchen. Usual

Three Years LaterThe ocean breeze always smelled different in the morning—hindi katulad ng maalinsangang amoy ng siyudad. Dito, sa bagong bahay namin ni Kalix, may halong asin, sikat ng araw, at kapayapaan.I stepped barefoot onto the wooden porch, mug of salabat in hand, habang nakasilong sa banig si Kai, our youngest, nakahiga pa sa maliit niyang beanbag with a storybook open on his chest. Tatlong taon pa lang siya, pero para siyang laging nasa sariling mundo—katulad ni Elle noong kaedad niya.“Mommy,” he murmured, half-asleep, “where’s the moon go?”I smiled. “Natutulog din, baby. Para magbigay daan sa araw.”He hummed. “Okay.”From the hammock just a few steps away, naroon si Elle—now eight, mas mahaba na ang buhok niya at mas matalas ang mata. She was sketching with serious focus, hawak ang notebook na galing pa sa first exhibit ko years ago. Kalix had it customized for her, printed with tiny sunflowers at the bottom corner.“Anong ginagawa mo d’yan?” tanong ko, lumapit ako para

[Kalix—1st POV]I didn’t bring bodyguards this time. No convoy. No Renzo lurking nearby.Just me, my breath, and the sound of waves crashing distantly—parang paalala na buhay pa rin ang mundo kahit ilang beses na tayong nadurog sa gitna nito.I walked the short path toward the grave under a dusky sky. The clouds above looked bruised, almost like they, too, carried grief that never quite healed.Leslie Alcantara.Walang katawan. Walang proper goodbye. Just a stone I had made… para kahit papaano, may mahawakan ako. May mapuntahan ako tuwing hindi na sapat ‘yung paghinga.I knelt down slowly, the familiar ache crawling up my chest.“I always said I hated lilies,” I murmured, placing one on the base of the headstone. “Too fragile. Too white. Parang hindi bagay sa ‘yo. You were color, Les. Chaos and warmth and noise.”I stared at the carved letters. My fingertips brushed the name like I was afraid she’d disappear again.“You know, I’ve been running on this stupid idea that if I build enoug
