The night was too dark for anything to be seen, not to mention the fog and the smell of rot surrounding the swamp, but luckily Joanna was too smart a witch to recognize the work of her once best friend Vihara.

Just because her stupid brother disappointed Vihara in life she decided to isolate herself as if the world didn’t even exist except hers she created herself, a witch, and she could do so much good, Joanna thought.

“Now she would have to help me and listen to me even if it was the last thing I did.” She told herself firmly.

She knew that the water surrounding the islet hidden in thick fog and vegetation had many pitfalls but only for ordinary mortals and weaker creatures, not for herself.

She closed her eyes, uttering words known only to her as she approached the islet-like air and then felt a strong blow that knocked her to the ground.

No matter how hard she tried she couldn’t move forward because she was constantly thrown back as if crashing into an invisible wall.
