LILLIANA'S POV

My mouth was open in shock. That was a lot to process. My eyes darted to Camille; she almost died, and I almost didn't meet her. Such a thought was insane to comprehend.

OK, now that's just crazy.” I said, “Did no one do anything to her? Like at all?”

“Well, Sarah did try to report her but it was her word against Bianca and her group,” Camille replied softly.

“So how did they explain the aconite then? Or was that just conveniently forgotten?” I exclaimed, “Come on! What did they say about that? I mean Camille got hospitalized because of it.”

Sarah looked down, a dejected look on her face. “They said it was an accident. I said the aconite in the cookies was intentional but Bianca and her friends said it was an accident, that they found some special ingredient and had no idea it was aconite.”

“That's bullshit.” I slammed my hand on the bed, and it made a loud thud, startling Camille. “Sorry.” I muttered to her, then said to Sarah, “Tell me they didn't believe tha

WARNING: SEXUAL SCENE He sat on the bed and I on his lap, straddling his thighs as we made out, completely lost in one another. His tongue explored every inch of my mouth and I moaned, tangling my hands in his hair. I was already so wet, grinding my lower body against his own, which is rock hard against me. This Made him groan into my mouth and it was the hottest sound ever, leading me to do it again and again and again. He lost it, flipping us over and pinning me to the bed, putting his body between my willfully spread thighs. His tongue pushed past my lips again and it made me crazy for him, wrapping my thighs around his waist to get as much contact as I could. The kiss deepened, He rolled his hips into me as the force of his lips on mine increased, hot and heavy. I made a noise of arousal into his mouth, fighting back against his only to be dominated once again. "You taste so fucking good," he said,as if he was drunk on me, lust-filled eyes on my swollen lips as I panted, trying

"Where are we going?" I asked. "It's a surprise," he said, grinning to himself, obviously excited about whatever he was going show me. When we reached our destination, I didn't know what to expect. He parked the car and we got out, but I was confused. We were In a neighborhood with just a few houses. But he took me by the hand and led me to one of them. It was two stories but small, and it looked really cozy with the deep brown paneling and dark tinted windows. "Are we visiting someone?" I asked. He shook his head, pulling me to him and wrapping an arm around my waist as we both faced it. "This is my house." My eyes widened. "What?!" "I bought it…I can't live at the packhouse forever, you know. I just wanted my own space.” "T-that's amazing! I'll be able to visit you more easily too!" "Baby," he had a knowing smile on his face, "I want you here. With me." My jaw dropped, the proposal taking me by surprise. "What? Me??" "No, that cricket on the ground," he said sarcastically

SIX MONTHS LATER LILLIANA’S POV The strikes kept coming, left, right, left, right. I tried my best to avoid as much as I could, but soon enough, I couldn’t keep up, and one of them made contact, hitting me across the field, my body making a loud oomph as it landed on the floor. “You alright there Lil?” Erik asked from his side on the field where he was watching the sparring. “I’m good,” I responded breathlessly, jumping to my feet and dusting myself off. I resumed my fighting stance and approached my sparring partner again. This time I was careful to stand more firmly on my feet. The sparring continued for quite some time and I had managed to land my own strikes, though not enough to send her flying, and I managed to not be sent flying again. “Alright enough!” Erik called out, “It’s meal time. You can head on to eat.” I started to gather my things, when a shadow fell across me, it was Erik. He was staring me down, looking at me like he could not believe what he was looking at.

Back at the residence, the White Sea pack had so kindly provided for us, I lugged a drunk Clarke into bed. “Gosh, you are heavy,” I said with a groan as I dropped him on the bed. “I am n-not heavy.” He slurred, “I am light as a feather.” “Sure you are buddy.” I patted his shoulder, then made my way to the bathroom to wash off the scent of alcohol that clung to my clothes. I got out of my clothes and stood in front of the mirror that hung over the sink, my eyes darted across my torso, lingering slightly in the scar that ran diagonally down my chest, starting from my right shoulder to my left hip. It was not a scar I liked to look at as the memories it brought back were far too annoying for me to deal with. It wasn’t a macho male type of thing, I simply was not ready to handle everything that would come if I decided to unpack the emotions that the scar brewed up within me. I stepped into the shower and set the water temperature to high and I turned it on. Soon, steam started to fil

KILLIAN’S POV Another day, another fucking country. I was beginning to get tired of all this travelling I was doing. I missed my pack, plus there was also the fact that I was starting to feel uneasy. Trouble was brewing back there and it disturbed me that I didn't know what it was and that I was not around to handle it. Instead, I was stuck here being diplomatic to this pompous fuck in front of me. “So Alpha Thorne,” The Alpha of the pack I was looking to form an alliance with said, “Why are you here exactly?” He was asking me this question again. Even though I had already answered him several times. He seemed to take delight in asking me the same thing over and over again, but in different forms; it was almost like he was trying to showcase his English skills. “As I’ve said before Alpha Bane, I wish for our packs to have a friendly relationship with each other. An alliance, if you will. So that in times of trouble we can be there for each other and we can also learn new ways that
