Chapter 11

The loud noise almost woke Mandy, but she only stirred before drifting back to sleep. Bosey was glad the noise didn't wake her. He had to find out where the noise came from. He made sure Mandy was now fully sleeping, he turned off the lights and went outside.

"What happened? Bosey asked a ranch hand standing beside the stable.

"The stables were raided sir and some horses stolen, some were released and left to run out on their own. We found some of them by the river"

The noise had been from the horses trying to leave the stables at the same time.

Bosey immediately ran to Crisy's stable, she was not there. He check behind the stable and also checked all the other stables and she was still no where to be found.

Mandy will be so devastated to hear this, Bosey thought. Crisy was like family to her. She loved the horse a lot.

Bosey was sad that he had to break the news to Mandy but for now he will let her get a good night sleep.
