My heart was beating rapidly as I looked around her apartment I noticed glass on the floor, the table was flipped over, it looked as if there was a struggle. My heart stopped when I noticed blood on the floor and walls leading into her room.
I called out to her frantically "Marianna!! Where are you?!!"
I began to look around the first thing I noticed were her legs coming out of the bathroom. I lost complete sight of all my surroundings; I froze as I saw her laying on the floor motionless.
I fell to my knees next to her and prayed to God she was still alive. I saw blood coming from her lip and a bruise forming around it. There was a cut on her forehead. I put my fingers on the side of her neck searching for a pulse, I felt a huge relief wash over my body as I found her heartbeat.
"Marianna baby please wake up!" I lifted her up on my knees, I took out my phone and called 911.
