MIRACLE POV
He is so weird sometimes that it makes my heart beat fast without the influence of this mate bond.
I run away from his office and stop only when I am in the safety of my own room’s walls.
The situation just now was so awkward. All I had to do was to tell him that it hurts and he helped me without asking questions or passing any nasty remarks.
This was so strange.
For a moment, I thought I saw some other emotion flickering in his eyes. Some emotion other than disgust or hate.
My heart is thumping against my ribcage violently, not ready to let me breath in relief. My hand still tingles with the warmth of his own.
While I am thinking all of this, a sharp pain hits my head and lower abdomen again.
I think it’s going to hurt continuously on this day. I am not going to ask for his help again. I can’t keep trying my luck, hoping he will help me every time.
