MIRACLE POV
His red glowing eyes narrow down in a glare, making me step back from him.
I can’t help but be a little cautious of him because he is unpredictable.
It’s impossible for me to know what’s going through his mind.
“ I am sorry. ” I whisper to him in a small tone and pull my hand back.
His wolf’s hair are so soft. I was just starting to like petting a wolf which is weird, but I guess I can’t do it now anyway.
Nibbling on my lower lip, I look down at my feet. My heart is drumming in my ears, because I know Cain gets angry easily and if I have managed to anger him again, it will be like fuel added to his hate.
I don’t want him to hate me.
I am thinking all of this before I realize that my mind block is not up. I cringe, lifting my head to find Cain’s wolf still glaring at me.
He steps forward and I stumble on my feet, falling down on my butt.
