Kat's POV

As the bell rang, signaling the end of the lesson, Mr. Jacobson smiled at the class. "Remember, understanding our history is key to understanding our future. It shapes everything we do as a pack."

I packed up my things quickly, eager to escape the overwhelming amount of new information, but Blake stopped me before I could leave.

"So, what do you think?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

I shrugged, feeling a little out of my depth. "It’s a lot to take in," I admitted. "But I’ll figure it out."

Blake grinned, slinging his backpack over his shoulder. "Don’t worry. You’ll fit right in. And hey, if you ever need help understanding any of it, I’m here."

I smiled back, appreciating his offer. "Thanks, Blake. I might take you up on that."

Blake and I walked to our next class together. As we made our way down the hall, I felt a little more relaxed now that I had someone to walk with. He kept talking to me, asking more about where I was from and how I liked Crescent Moon Pack so far. I

Katrina’s POVLiam turned to face me fully. His expression was intense. His silver eyes looked darker now, filled with something heavy and hungry. There was no more calmness in them. Only heat. Before I could say a word, he stepped forward quickly and cupped my face with both hands. His grip was firm but gentle, like he was afraid I might disappear if he didn’t hold on tight. And then he kissed me.Hard.His lips crashed against mine like a wave, wild and full of need. I gasped softly from the suddenness of it, but I didn’t pull away. I melted into the kiss, grabbing the front of his shirt and holding on like it was the only thing keeping me upright. His mouth moved with urgency, his breath hot and uneven. I could feel his chest rising and falling fast, just like mine.It was like something inside him had snapped. He kissed me until I was breathless, until my knees felt shaky and I had to lean into him for support. Then, without warning, he spun me around and pressed me back against a

Katrina’s POVBut it wasn’t her.It was Mira.I let out a shaky breath and sagged in relief. My knees felt a little weak, and my heart was still thudding in my chest like I’d just run a mile.“Oh my God, Mira,” I breathed out, placing a hand over my heart. “You scared the life out of me.”She gave me an apologetic smile. “Sorry! I didn’t mean to sneak up on you like that. You were kind of spacing out.”“Yeah,” I mumbled, shaking my head a little. “I thought I saw something weird in the mirror. Probably just my imagination.”She tilted her head at me, eyes soft with concern. “Are you okay? You look a little pale.”I forced a small smile. “Yeah… I’m fine. Just tired, I think.”Mira didn’t push me for more. Instead, she reached out and gently grabbed my hand. Her palm was warm, and her touch helped calm my nerves a bit.“Well,” she said with a grin, “in that case, come on. I realized I haven’t shown you the sparring grounds yet. It’s one of my favorite places. You’ll love it.”I nodded,

  • Marked By Fate: The Alpha Who Loved Me   Chapter 88

Katrina’s POVThe moment we touched, she gasped.A loud, sharp intake of breath. Her hand gripped mine tighter, and her head lifted suddenly. Her lips parted, and for a second, she looked shocked. Maybe even frightened. Then her voice came out, low and full of wonder.“Power,” she whispered. “So much power.”My heart jumped in my chest.I frowned slightly and looked at her, confused and uneasy. What was she talking about? How could she possibly know?I swallowed hard. My fingers twitched, but I didn’t pull away. Not yet. My thoughts were moving too fast, spinning around in my head like a storm.Did she somehow know about my silver flame powers? The ones I didn’t fully understand myself? I hadn’t told anyone about my powers. So how?Her next words chilled me to the bone.“Your light…” she began, her voice shaking slightly, like she was struggling to speak it out loud, “...is going to bring darkness your way.”I blinked. My mouth parted, but I still couldn’t form any words. I just stare

  • Marked By Fate: The Alpha Who Loved Me   Chapter 87

Katrina’s POVShe was standing quietly, her eyes locked on something across the square. I followed her gaze and saw a group of teenagers laughing together. One of them—a tall boy with curly brown hair and a red hoodie—stood out. Mira kept staring at him.I smiled a little and leaned toward her. “You like him, don’t you?”Mira’s cheeks turned bright red. “What?! No… I mean… maybe a little.”I chuckled. “You totally like him. You’ve been staring at him for like five minutes.”She covered her face with her hands for a second, then peeked out between her fingers. “He’s just really cute.”“Then go say hi,” I encouraged her gently.“I can’t!” she gasped, shaking her head. “What would I even say? What if he doesn’t remember me from school? What if I sound stupid?”I sm

Katrina’s POVHe came up to me and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me in close like he couldn’t help it. His body was warm and solid, and I melted against him.“I have to go meet Alpha Raymond,” he murmured, his lips brushing against my temple. “Alpha business.”I nodded. “Okay. I’ll see you later?”He smiled and kissed me softly on the lips. “Of course you will. I’m coming right back to you.”His kiss lingered, and when he pulled away, he looked at me with so much care in his eyes, it made my chest tighten in the best way. Then he was gone, and the room felt a little emptier without him.I stood there for a moment, hugging myself, before deciding I needed to find something to eat. My stomach had been growling for a while now, and the warm smell of something sweet and buttery was drifting in from downstairs.I followed the scent all the way to the kitchen, my feet quiet on the polished wood floor. The closer I got, the stronger the smell became—freshly baked bread, maybe cin

  • Marked By Fate: The Alpha Who Loved Me   Chapter 85

Katrina’s POVWe walked through the quiet halls of the packhouse, our fingers intertwined. The morning air outside was crisp and clean. Birds chirped from the treetops, and the sun peeked over the forest line, casting long golden rays through the trees. He led me down a narrow path at the edge of the woods, our steps soft against the damp ground. The leaves above rustled gently, and every now and then, a cool breeze swept through, brushing against my cheeks.“Let’s start with a light jog,” Liam said.I groaned but nodded, and we began to run side by side. He kept his pace slow, matching mine easily. His breathing was steady, like this was easy for him. Meanwhile, I felt every step in my bones. But I didn’t complain. I liked being near him, even if I was panting like a tired pup. After about ten minutes, we stopped in a quiet clearing. Sunlight poured through the trees here, casting soft patches of gold across the grass. It felt warm, peaceful… like the world had paused for just us.“T
