So many questions and nothing seemed to give her answers. She sat and watched as Mina fell into the arms of a young Vlad and wondered if that was how she should have been? The truth to all her horrors was no, she didn’t want to seem too easy, but she did believe that Craven had done more than take her clothes off that night.

Once she hit the house, she had changed out of that outfit and pulled on a comfortable pair of sleeper paints that had tweety bird on them. With the pants she pulled on an oversized T-shirt that said “Don’t talk to me until I have had at least two cups of coffee.” The shirt had an old lady on it, which reminded her of her granny.

She lost her to cancer five years ago; it had been a horrible road for her. The thing that surprised her most with her granny was she always had a smile for her. Nothing could get her down, even throwing up from the meds they gave her. Majesta didn’t want to go out that way, but if it came down to it then she would be brave, like her. Pum

“Stacy!”The woman turned, almost glared at Majesta but stopped when she noticed who it was. Stacy walked up to her and gave her a hug. Anger and sorrow rolled off Stacy, but she had an inner power that kept it all in line. She stood with a grace that even Majesta couldn’t seem to pull off. Blue eyes haunted by the recent pain and the hunger for revenge danced with a hidden agenda that worried Majesta. Should she take her to the café and allow her to get something to eat? She sure the hell couldn’t allow her to go to the club.“What brings you here? Come on, let’s go up and get you something to drink and eat.” Majesta suggested with a big smile. The two women walked up to the upper floor to a small table in the back. Something was bothering Stacy, and Majesta wanted to know what it was. It didn’t really matter that she hadn’t seen the woman since the wake. Stacy had been engaged to Rick for almost a year before he was killed. The two had dated for years before that. Friends before tha

  • Marked By Fate   Wow what a story

“Have you heard anything I said?” Magnusson asked from the far side of the kitchen.“No, sorry I was thinking about something.” Majesta smiled.“I can tell, by the look on your face, it was a nice thought.” Dimitri teased.Color crept up to her cheeks and she smiled at him. The two men chuckled, and she turned away from them. She opened the fridge grabbing a bag of blood, popping it into the microwave. A few seconds later, it dinged, and she turned toward them again. She could see their eyes on her, but she didn’t say anything. She just popped the bag onto her fangs and drank. She felt the life filling her, and wanted to smile, but that was rather hard to do when you have a pint of blood attached to your mouth. A few moments later, she dumped the empty bag into the trash and smiled.“You turned?” Magnusson was shocked.“Yes, it seems the two girls turned me. Yes, it was a rather nice thought.” Majesta told him with a slight smile on her face.“You mean the babies gave up their lives f

She heard the music stop and the DJ asking for her to come to the floor. She stood, walking over to the dance floor that had emptied out. Majesta had a bad feeling about this. Music started to play again, but it was a slow song, something she had told the DJ not to play tonight. Before she could turn to leave the floor, a hand caught hers, spinning her around. She looked up to see Magnusson looking at her with nothing but love in his eyes. She wanted to fight him to get away, but she knew better. It had been almost three months since she had last seen him.“What are you doing here?” Majesta asked with almost a hiss in her voice.“Nice to see you too, my dear.” Magnusson smiled.Majesta wanted to glare at him, but she was rather glad to see him. The wound from the arrow was more than healed, and she didn’t want to think of that night. She danced with him and felt each muscle he had move with hers. She took in the scent of him and the way his cologne clung to his shirt.“I have missed y

“You know that he knew the name of the café/club. He didn’t show up for the opening of that.” Amèliä told her again for the millionth time.“That was during the day, you know that he is not going to show himself in the daylight hours.” Majesta felt sad, but at the same time glad.Majesta guessed she had not thought of that because she laughed at the statement. It made her laugh with Amèliä and she felt a little bit better. The week crawled by and the little things that needed to be fixed popped up. The staff needed to wear black slacks and button up shirts, which came in two colors, red and black. Upstairs, the staff had to wear silver shirts; it was a calmer color and kept people at easy as they ate. Not much of the menu was open at night, but some humans would want to eat at the club. Finally, the night came she had to get ready, hard to do when most of your stuff was at someone else’s house. Thankfully, she did have some stuff that she had bought after the café opened. Tonight, she

The building would have to have a basement and a house not far away. They finally found one that had a house. The house was larger than she really needed, but she said that it could be used as a vampire safe house when dawn was coming. The house needed a lot of work before they could move into it. The windows needed to be tinted, then have shades put on them. The doors needed to be updated with better locks to keep humans from braking in. The rooms were painted, then had the windows redone. After what seemed like months the house was ready, they moved in. The nightclub was coming along pretty well, but it wouldn’t open for a few more months. The café part was ready to go and opened today. She was so happy that the place was opening, but she wasn’t able to be at the grand opening for it. The sunlight was coming in and it would have fried her. She didn’t want to be a crispy Majesta.“You seem happy that the café is open.” Amèliä told her from one of the couches in the living room.“It i

“She is not here; maybe you should speak to your mother about this little issue.” Amèliä glared at Magnusson.“Why?” Magnusson stopped to glare down at her.“Maybe she took her, like Craven did.” Amèliä told him.“My God…” She didn’t hear anything else, when it had been a few moments she stood and walked into the hall to the great hall. The room was pretty much empty, she knew that everyone was out doing different things. She felt like shit when she finally looked at Amèliä and knew that she had lied for Majesta. She didn’t have to ask her, she stood and hugged Majesta close. She broke down in her arms, tears running down her face. How could the man she loved allow his mother try to kill her and their child. What kind of woman would do that to her son’s love? So many questions were running through her head, and yet she couldn’t think straight.“I have a feeling that she is the one that said you were a witch.” Majesta spoke into Amèliä’s neck.“His mother is a bitch, I worry that she w
